Then she'll be automatically be nice to me the note depends on your mood as well...... as to returning a nasty email with more arguments. delete and block come to mind. no the note does not depend on my mood. it was clearly argumentative and intended to start an argument so I did block it. I would not return an nasty email with more arguments. If a long time friend raised a concern with me that is a different story - but a friend though they might question you they would not be nasty, but I have had men block me for 2 reasons 1. I would not return their affections and 2. I was correct or right about something - Oh well - I am pretty easy sleezie & cheezie - I feel sorry for him if he canna get along with me...

OH this made me think of something a local country station is doing. They have a number that goes to a generic answering machine to give out to creepy guys at the bar (or wherever) They play the messages back everyday at 5:30 for people to enjoy on the ride home. MOST of them you know immediately why the women gave them a fake number. (Obviously they bleep out any identifiers like names or places. ) SOME are abosuletly priceless.

I did get a little argumentative at work. The nurse said she used to be pretty. Before I had a chance to think I said, "I think you are still pretty." I was lucky because she said thank you. I hadn't had anybody fish for compliments like that since my ex. Sometimes a person can get caught off guard and say what they mean despite themselves.

Of course that was back in the day an unlisted number really was an unlisted number.

Generally, no. I try to respond politely, or laugh my butt off at them and send that in a response. If they escalate, I forward to our loverly and wonderful moderators! ....and talented, don't forget talented....
