Topic: Toe dipping to test emotions | |

Just joined this site today. I have met 4 men in the past 2 weeks for coffee... 2 of them after meeting and setting up a second date (they initiated) then send me an email/txt to say that their headspace isn't right for a relationship or that they were seeing if they were ready to move on from their exes... Maybe I should start charging for this service to "test their waters" as they are completely wasting my time! The 3rd man after 2 dates just texted me to say he didn't feel a spark between us... what's with the texting? The 4th man after coffee was very interested but looking to compliment his existing relationship (wheelchair bound wife)as "he has enough love to share for two"! MMMM he told me he was divorced... Very despondent human girl I am... looking to restore my faith in men who know what they want and can be honest..... Just venting my thoughts........... happy day

Just venting my thoughts........... happy day First meetings are to do just that, test the waters. They're to see if you actually get along well and perhaps if there is a spark. At least they did tell you that either weren't ready, or that they didn't feel a spark. Not everyone gets that after the first date. Some just disappear. Were you expecting them all to work out? Unfortunately, life just doesn't work that way. Keep doing what you're doing and meeting new people. Finding the right person doesn't happen right away. |

Well, men started to actually tell the truth, but that lead to penis' being cut off, so that quickly was nixed. |

What puzzles me is this... you can go on talking on this site for a while ..getting along great and when ya meet... all of a sudden even the friendship you struck goes dead. What is up with that trash? It would be nice to just keep a friend if nothing else...

Don't get sucked into a virtual love life on mingle2. Except if it is really late at night and no one else is around. Isn't toe dipping the whole point of conversation and dating anyway? |

Otherwise, how are you supposed to test things out and see how well you get along in the beginning? |
