Cougar hunting seems to be REALLy in nowadays. I think that the younger ones figure- An older woman already has her own money, job, car. And isn't necessarily looking to "hook" a man. Either that or they'e seen The graduate too many times.

???????

You are kidding right? What's NOT to love?

Ya'll are gorgeous as a fine wine.

Your confident in what you do and do not want. (sexy)

Ya'll have made it through your mood swings and can now be enjoyed with fear.

Older women are phenominal in the sack.

Experienced women no longer flip out over things that are petty and minor like the younger ones do.

I can completely understand why a younger man could want a mature lady.

So.....ya'll are Hot women and guys are still chasing ya....Who woulda guessed?

:)

Pacific, Maybe you should try there are some guys in there 40's that have it all together. It is possible as long as you "click" personality wise.
I say don't discount all of them because of their age. I know of a few men in their 30's that if they lived closer-- I would definitely be seeing what would happen.

The same phenomenon is happening over here in Sweden.
at a bar the young girls only get the older men, the boys/men in their age wont even look at them.
And I find it fun and amusing that the older ladies gets all the action.

Sure, the age is not supposed to matter. If you are on the same wavelenght and you enjoy eachothers company =)

Me, sure I can have a somewhat younger temp hookup, but for the long run? Dont know, not searching for it.
Want my men to be over and done with their hangups and playtime ;)

Are you including yourself in the "older ladies" category? I have a hard time seeing women in their 30s described as older. It just makes me laugh.

*lol* Sorry, no!
Soon turning 40 and not "suffering" from it.
I'm just writing what I see when I go out to the pubs & clubs.

I mean the cubs are 18-25 and chasing the ladies 45-55 hard. And to me cougar is when the age diffrence is over 13 years. Have no idea why I just picked that number but still =)

Ah, ok. I was just curious . And yes, at certain bars around here, you see a lot of the older women going for the younger men.

From what I've been told, a cougar is any woman who goes for a man who is 10 years younger. The definitions keep changing, though. laugh

This whole 'cougar' concept I find fascinating. I can remember when it was that time of the month for her she seemed like a 'cougar' because I can imagine the cougar poised ready to protect her cubs. It was like I can see the picture of a cougar with fangs open and claws ready to kill a predator. But then as I understand it from here the 'cougar' is not really trying to protect cubs. So then I to understand as long as it is someone else's cubs they are fair game? Fascinating. Would this help to give a cougar cub an advantage?

As a mom of healthy adult age young men, even likeing their peers as nice people, I just find it creepy that sexual attraction or desire for a personal relationship would go either way.

My feeling is you are old enough to parent a partner you are NOT AGE APPROPRIATE! and it is the responsibility of the senior member; or at least the one with all their mental faculties to say NO WAY!

When there is this much age difference there is so much difference in Life Experience that there is NO WAY it is an equal peer relationship. One is exploiting the other.

Is it always the older exploiteing the younger? Usually but not always if the younger out powers the other in social, economic, physicial, emotional, or cogniative skills; then it is a lopsided relationship the other way.

In my notion there is nothing manly about a male who uses any female or feminine about seduceing a man who is simply looking for a convient repository.
