I would like to get some feedback! First of all I am new to this internet meeting people stuff. So here is my question: When you start talking to someone via one of these sites is it normal for them not to respond until days (5 or more) later? When you email someone a compliment or just to say hi why dont they respond? And, why is it that you strike up a conversation via one of these sites and the other person just stops?

Can anyone help me to understand these behaviors???

That's the way some people are. I started talking to a guy a month ago. Now he doesn't want to talk to me and he took himself off my friends. So I say it's their lost if they don't want to talk to you. Your a nice person. Keep trying. It's hard at first. Hope this helped.

they may not have liked something you said and rather than tell you they just no longer respond ,,,they may be very busy and not look on here for mail?it might help to say i'll be e-mailing you so look for it ,,,or when can we talk again?day time

That's the problem with this online thing, you just never know what the other person is really thinking or wanting. It would be nice if people would just be honest & let you know instead of leaving you hanging.

maybe some people only log on once in a while. I try to respond right away.

Men....are fickle. You can send them an email and you know that he's read it...sometimes they answer right away, most times NOT. It can be very frustrating, I know...but that's just the way it is.

You can't really do anything to change that, I'm sorry to say...

Best advice I can give is just be yourself and whenever they answer they answer. All guys and people are different. Some answer right away. Some it takes them awhile. Some dont even answer at all.

Just have fun and let everyone else enjoy your company.
