Yes I did, I am with the 70% Corporate greed is killing our country. No-the alliance between corporations and government (in collusion with the FED) is destroying the country's economy. Corporations are not in and of themselves "bad". It is only when they use their cronies in DC to shift their losses onto taxpayers that they become a problem. The OWS people are sadly very misguided. They have the general idea correct, but they blame the wrong people. |

If the government wasn't there to bail people out these things wouldn't happen because they wouldn't risk their businesses. The thing I don't like about the OWP is the fact that its just a bunch of "angry" people. They have no Unity on what they stand for. You can go to their site and still see forum posts asking their members what their demands should be. They don't even have a unified idea of what their basic principles should be. |

Personally I think since the OWP has no official views on anything the poll is moot. I mean its just a bunch of angry people with different ideas. I am sure some are good and some are bad but since they are not unified believes how can you judge them as a whole? |

Without the customers the corporation is nothing. Has everyone forgotten their younger days as working in the service industry or did you just not do that? If a customer comes in all pissed off and takes it out on you, you are not allowed to do anything. You have to just take it and maybe get someone else to handle them respectfully if it is out of your control. Lockheed is a corporation. When I worked there it was awesome. They care about their employees. We had a private park with fishing, beach volleyball, baseball fields, soccer fields, gym, etc. They had spots tournaments with real refs for the employees. They did and supported lots of community service activities especially for the poor in the area. |

all corporations are not the same just as all individuals are
but there has been a growing egocentric trend in our culture that has expanded from the individual citizens to the large corporations and its really doing us in the culture that insists that what matters is simply 'me and what makes me happy' needs to swing back towards what matters is 'whats going to be productive of helpful to COMMUNITY' |

The biggest news out of the protests themselves Wednesday was the arrest of 11 activists in San Francisco. According to Reuters , they had blocked all entrances to Wells Fargo bank’s corporate headquarters."Wells Fargo is a good target because they have been very involved in the foreclosure crisis, kicking people out of their homes," a protest organizer said. "Our message is: stop kicking people out of their homes, start paying yourtaxes."

The Occupy Wall Street protesters are getting encouragement from all sorts of public figures these days, some of it welcome and some, frankly, embarrassing.
In the latter category is astatement from Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who said Wednesday that he believes the protests will grow until they topple the entire system of American capitalism. |
