Depends on what he expects to get out of the "friendship".

Friends are friends...age shouldn't matter.

Younger friends are ok....but someone more your age is better...eye candy doesn't last.

It is okay. I have a lot of younger women as friends. They are almost all married or have boy friends. Which is cool for me since they have to live with them. I just have to see them at work.

With the exception of one guy; all my male friends are between 10 and 20 years younger. Not sure why; but it just worked out that way.

I was getting depressed because my younger nurse friend by 20 said she wouldn't date anyone bigger than she was. Hey. I take in stride. I still have my little buddy who is 30 years older than me who has that crazy giggle like I can get some times. When she is in dementia and I am having a flashback we sure can have good times. I just love that nervous laughter she has. It sure can take me back.

All my friends are younger than me. I can learn a lot from younger people. I like challenges and younger people are more open to new ideas, adventures. They adapt also more easily to difficult situations.

If you are wicked or a heathen, then yes, go for it, and feel free to help yourself to the goodies.

If you and them can agree on what friendship means. One of my younger male friends who works with me is real gangster like. He tells me that he isn't anybody's biotch. My other male friend who is almost the same age as me just laugh. And it really pisses off our younger male friend. My younger male friend tells me that I need to learn how to use that pimp hand. But of course his wife is still trying to learn how to use that pimp hand. She can't get him to quit wearing that hood but she has got him to look nice for pictures. His wife and me are good friends. He will make a good biotch some day. He is reading more and his writing is improving. He is learning to vent better. He just doesn't have that rage down quite, yet.
