The Obama administration has ordered all medical-marijuana dispensaries in California to shut down within 45 days or they will be prosecuted and have their property confiscated for violating federal drugs laws, the Associated Press reports.

Even licensed outlets operating under the 1996 voter-approved medical-marijuana law are subject to the federal crackdown. California's four U.S. attorneys plan an announcement Friday.

AP says the federal prosecutors have notified at least 16 pot shops or their landlords.

The states can object and keep them out, but the the federal government will threaten to stop giving them federal money.

Its all about, money.

If you don't do as we tell you, you won't get any money from us.

If states want to be independent or sovereign, they will have to stop sucking the teat of the federal government.

I think the government is involved in the drug trade and the legal drugs would cut into their untraceable money from the illegal drug trade that they use to fund their illegal black OPS.

I said FUQUE Obama from the beginning. He is pulling this because he is pissed off he isn't getting his way! If the DEA intends to play games here it is time for us to interfere with them! California as well as America in general needs to stand up to the FED to get the message to them we are the people who they work for. Not the other way around!

Isn't it funny how they can withhold from us if we don't do as they want, yet we can't do the same to them? Double standard anyone?

So we stop sending funds to the Fed! We arrest their DEA agents. And sue the Fed in the US SUPREME court!

But now, drum roll, Obama is trying to use this as political leverage to force his will upon the people symbolically. A few months ago he promised he would leave anyone operating in state laws alone. And now he changes his mind. I don't think it is just Republicans giving Obama grief. Some of the Dems might smell smoke on the wind and getting panicky. It is only a matter of time before the Government screws up handling one of these Occupy Wall Street Protests that will make the Rodney King Trial Aftermath trivial!

I would love to see the DEA and BATH get their azzes handed to them by a band of "Street Thugs" protecting a dispensary.

What I would love to see more is our Governor to grow a pair and affect arrests on the DEA and BATF when they come to play. What then? Mobilize military assets on our own country? I bet Obama would love to be the president who goes down in history as the one setting off a vicious second Civil War, Civilians Against the Military! Want to talk about twenty shades of all Fuqued up? Would our military even obey an order to march on one of our own states?

California is, I think, an experimental state and will be the first state to succumb to control by the federal government. They have so many laws restricting people from doing things I would never live in that state... ever!! It is almost already a police state.

But I heard on television last night that there is a 99% chance that California will have a major 7. plus earthquake within the next 30 years. I predict it will be larger than that.

People should start moving out of California now before the rush.

I hope California does arrest them for violating California law and harrassing a legitimate business in the State of California....Its their state....that formed into a union of States and has the right to seperate laws. They do not have to accept federal law or federal monies..........

We are at least %48 of the Federal income. If we cut them off for OUR tax money they would be so pissed off! And Broke in a week!

And what if the DEA was making arrests on a clinic and a WHOLE bunch of armed people made them pack up and leave without their prey?

The DEA wears protective body armor? Doesn't work for SHITTE against High Power hunting rifles. And between the guns the DEA and agencies like that use VS what we got. We got range advantage, power, and penetration. We also vastly out number them.

Making them leave under the gun would be polite considering if we tried to interfere with them they would shoot at us even if we did try to inhibit them peacefully.

Now an amazing show of solidarity would be for both Police AND armed citizens to arrest the Federal goons. Want to talk about sending a message back to Washington DC? I would feel a LOT better if we were allowed to stand up for ourselves for a change. I really got to question though if our local law enforcement has the nuggets to go to the local FBI headquarters and effect arrests of the FBI agents, DEA and BATF the moment the order is given to commence the raids.

I am ALL for them going after METH, Cocaine, and Heroin/Morphine. But leave our leaf alone! We made it legal here and for Obama to just say, NO WAY NOW BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE TO JUSTIFY MY DECISION?

We may be California but we are supposed to be Americans too and you work for us! Not MISTER PRESIDENT. Or is that COMRADE PRESIDENT these days???

Keep in mind that you can lie to a cop, but it is considered a crime to lie to the Feds. So just don't talk to them.

It is not Obama, it is the feds and the shops being instructed to close or being raided are those who have not followed the state requirement for their business and that was the agreement. The feds let the state regulate but if the shops don't follow the state requirements and the states do not act the feds will close and raid.

I really wish people would not believe all the garbage, it makes for a lot of having to repeat oneself.
