is a guy in his early 30's to young for you?

For me, definitely. I prefer to see someone who shares more of the same life experiences as I and knows what it was like to be a teenager in the 70's, a twenty something in the 80's etc

Here is my problem, i tend to act a lot older than i am. I probably know just as much about the 70's as someone who was 20 something at that time. |

You may know about it but the difference is that you did not "live" it. I know some women enjoy being with younger men and others say that age is just a number but I enjoy being 55 most of the time I have sons in their 20's so my perception of the 20's and 30's is motherlike.

And the ways yous THINKS!!!! I've met the older ones who see ME as old,,because they have had nothing but thirty-somethings or younger for their men.. And its depressing a bit,,,as I feel I look pretty damn good for my age,,,BUT,,,no way can my appearance be seen as FRESH as a dude in his early thirties.. So an equal to me in age would be a welcomed thought....the ladies I amtalking were about nine years younger than me... |

It is not that we over fifty want to be old or stop learning new things, it is just some of us are not looking back. Many men and women enjoy dating younger and if that makes them happy then I say go for it. I just prefer men who are in my age group but still enjoy living and experiencing new things

If I am old enough to be your mother, you are too young for me.

Hi everyone!! Howz it goin?
|
|
|

Nope. I have learned a lot from younger guys and gals for that matter. It is still okay when you learn from someone younger. I think the main thing is that somebody learned something.

There is always exceptions to anything. But the norm, for the long term, is people prefer closer to their age. Eye candy is nice, but to much sweets will rot yout teeth.

I am glad that eye candy isn't fattening.

is a guy in his early 30's to young for you? Yes, first, I know that I couldn't get over the fact that he was the same age as my son. That is just creepy for me. Second, we would be too far apart from goals in life that a couple works towards together because we would be in different places in our life. |

if I were interested in a fling...maybe..but for me I would have to completely forget myself ...who I am in my little corner of the world and just be a woman wanting some company, not that there's anything wrong with that for sure, but as fun as that might be for awhile I would know it to be and consider it to be temporary...for it to be anything more would involve the consideration of many more variables than the age difference alone....soufie nailed it..all things being equal...maybe.

If I am old enough to be your mother, you are too young for me. I have to agree. My son is 31 and for me, it just doesn't feel right. |

I have to agree, knowing about the 70's and 80's is nothing like living those years....experience is better than knowledge. |
