I woke up at 2:30 this morning
Could not go back to sleep....does anyone else have this problem? |

It's the pits...tried watching TV, and reading...nothing worked...now it's 10:30 and I'm ready for a nap..but if I do that...won't sleep again tonight

Well I had that nap....now I don't want to do anything

I have gotten where I am up only about a half hour to a hour in the mornings after work and then I am out like a light.

I have nights where I can't go to sleep until 4-5am.. makes for a long day...
|

You know...most nights..I go to bed at 10 read two sentences and am out like a light..now if anything wakes me up for any reason...it's an all nighter trying to get back to sleep..is it our age (except for joy4gud...she's much too young to be sleepless)? do we just require less sleep now...what's going on here?

I spent the night with a friend on Friday night..the night before the arts and craft show...any way...we stayed up and watched TV until about 11 then went to bed. I had the guest room in the front of the house...he lives in town...STREET LIGHTS!!...gees, another sleepless night..finally got up and turned the TV back on, threw a cover over my head and got about an hrs sleep...lol I'm so spoiled living out of town with no outside lights

Maybe I shouldn't admit this but when I have trouble sleeping, I say my prayers and I never seem to get to the end of them without dropping off to sleep.
It's changed for me since my heart has gotten old. I used to be quite a night owl and sometimes went for a few days without sleep. Now I take a nap in the afternoon and usually still drift off around midnight. I wake up earlier though. Five hours at night is about all I can do. |

Public opinion? I say to hell with that!! lol Without our faith, what would we be..? Sometimes I will be sitting in my chair watching TV in the afternoon and nod off...but that is just OLD AGE!..lol then I have trouble going to sleep at night. |

I wake up off & on through most nites. Seldom sleep straight thru. I figure it is from to many years of a 24hr business, answering the phone at all hours. I sometimes cat nap thru the day, but not very often.
