What can you say about yourself now that is completely honest?

This is actually how try to live my life. As I mentioned in my profile, I believe in honesty over promises.
Honestly I would say that I am happy being single and open to meeting a compatible partner.

Have no choice here. Memory problems from the MS require I be truthful all the time. I have a hard time remembering the truth sometimes let alone a bunch of lies.

So I may be the most honest person you know or know of.....

to be honest is the best quality in a human being, but sometimes it can push you in a bad or cruel situation, it's a paradoxal event

Yes, I decided that being honest was a lot easier than telling lies because to be a good liar takes a lot of work and a good memory. Hence one of the reasons I am honest because I am lazy. LOL

Ahhh but I do not even think of lying, it's just not in me.

I do not have time to think about what is or is not honest throughout the day. I worked 10 hours and talked to numerous customers - many of whom were extremely grumpy - many who were extremely nice (Oh, there is a God)

if I am "not honest" it would be by accident if I make a mistake with information or something like that - but not on purpose

To be honest, I would not be wife material.

I don't really like institutions.

I don't like housework or cooking.

Sleeping together would require a king sized bed (or separate bedrooms) and that my partner not snore or smoke or want to watch television all night.

I honestly wasn't a good son, brother, father, husband, cousin, care taker, care giver, uncle and the list goes on infinitude. Lately, I have found that I am not even a good coffee maker. Yet, every time someone asks who is in charge of the group everyone points at me. WTF? I am still working on friendships and being a trusted member of the group. Luckily, I was able to get out of being the treasurer. I really enjoyed our topic on anger at our local meeting. It was nice to find out that I wasn't the only antisocial psychopath. I still have fond memories of being terminally unique even though it only lasted a short while. My new, friend, Stuart led the meeting tonight as I asked him to chair. It was so nice to get out of having to be the responsible one. Responsibility should be a choice. Ahhh. I feel better now.

I have learned in Life that being Honest has always been a great thing, such as everyone else has said, I don't have enough memory to remember the lies, and most importantly...since I have become really honest with my feelings about myself, I have drove away countless people from my life.

Some say, why would that be good? Well, it took all the stress and worry from my life. I always forewarn others that I can be brutal with my honesty and if you can't hang, then get off the porch. And so be it....lol ( i know that was a watered down version of the original version but it works)

And Honestly Speaking, I am so glad I found this site, it has really been a breathe of fresh air, to discuss things like this....:)

Now as for many who might say THIS,,,


Let me say I have met,,and became really GREAT FRIENDS with people who had told me THEY WERE VERY HONEST ALWAYS,,,

THEN,,later find out they LIED in telling me that,,,


MANY PEOPLE WILL LIE,,,when they THINK IT MIGHT TURN YOU AWAY FROM THEM
And for the LIFE of me I have no idea why people do THAT?

Because IT WILL COME-OUT,,SOMETIME,,for you to see their TRUE SELF!

So NOW,,,let me give you some ways to SEE THROUGH THEM,,in an early stage as to keep getting closer to find that out...


ANY stories they tell you when your talking with them,,and THEY SAY,,they kept quite THEN,,,,or,,,,OH NO,,,I KNEW IF I TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPEN,,THEY'D FLIP OUT.
Or, just listen to their stories and when they may tell one,,,where YOU know the other in their stories couldn't have known their truth at that time,,,ask them about that,,,and their response will let you know they lied at that time,,,,,,,for whatever their reasoning was,,,
And THEN,,,your know they have lied before,,,when the truth was something that SHOULD have been given THEN,,not a lie,,or no anwser keeping their truth inside?
I mean,,in our lives WE HAVE ALL TOLD ONE OR SOME!
But its through their why did they then,,,that you have to learn and weigh as to if YOU WOULD HAVE DONE THEIR SAME?
IF NOT,,,,then ,,,THEY have a higher percentage of telling you a lie later in life....
I've been in love with,,,,many a GOOD liar...
Your know your thoughts,,the first time YOU CATCH IT IN YOUR MIND,,and THATS,,,when your question the idea,,in thoughts,,,that they lied to you,,,as you then think,,,,no way,,,,
But,,,,yes,,,,,they did,,,over something really petty,,,and when that happens,,your'll KNOW they would lie over something really big...
ANYONES truth,,,,is worth GOLD to YOU to believe in them..
For with IT,,,,you have a real relationship,,,w/o IT,,your just acting and wishing you a better person to be....
I LIE,,,,,over ANY and ALL,,surpries to have happen to them or for them,,short of THAT,,,,,I don't lie...I'm REAL with me and life..for others to believe in and trust..
But see,,,YOU have to be lied to by someone you really love,,for TRUTH to be placed as a high value for you to carry or seek to find,
and THAT SUCKS,,that you have to learn THIS,,through THAT,,,,but,,such is life..

What is the pay out for honesty? What is the incentive to be honest?

(I do it cause I was raised that way but, for most of my life, honesty never really made a difference.)

I can be honest but that would be no fun

why would i lie to myself?
is it dishonest if you don't say the whole truth?
if so,
i can't be honest with others because they'd be mad or disappointed or something.

Not many people will trust a liar. Word gets around.

It made a HUGE difference in my career.

Iam a honest person, for me it takes a lot of strength and effort to be honest. don't know explain that.
