Okay, I am a California girl...
I have been transplanted from New England since 1971...

I lived in Washington state for three years though,
and spent an awesome summer in Colorado...
Other places certainly have their charm,
however California has been home to me for so long,
but, the way thigs are going, I am open to change
I love it elsewhere, but I love California in so many ways,
I love the cold rushing blue blue rivers, the bright blue skies,
the lazy, drifting trails of the red tailed hawks
the lush green hills and meadows filled with wildflowers,
the scattered oaks, the sprawling horse and cattle ranches,
the endless vineyards, the barn owls in flight at dusk,
the moonlight, crickets and frogs singing around the pond,
warm summer nights, bonfires, waves crashing onto the shore...

I meant "but the way " things " are going...'

sounds like the maiden gets out of the tower every once in a while

Yes, she does come down from the tower
as often as possible...

Woohoo! Not a Californian but my ex worked for the airline and she was from LaJolla so we went to the beach for a weekend every other month. I LOVE LA JOLLA! Best damned city there is!

I was checkin out all the big ol' fat Indians at a Casino last nite!
