What do you guyz think about relationships,i mean whatz the appropriate age difference recomended when hooking up with men or women.Or is age just but a number.

Age differences are a personal choice and are not the same for most people...whatever you and the potential mate are comfortable with is good for you.

Age is just a number, if u like someone then its not a problem.

To me relationship is closes afair between a guy n a lady wish lead 2 marriage n has 4 the age u can start relationship as at 18yrs old

Age is more than just a number there is this thing called the generation gap. It's hard for a person my age to relate to younger people.

there is a BIG DEAL about the dating age....by law if you are with a minor you can go to jail for a very long time....so yes age is very important in a relationship.......

I think we all took it for granted that she was talking about dating and relationships between ADULTS and no minors involved.

lol... age isn't SUPER important... but it does matter... i'm not going to date someone in their 50's... sorry... i couldn't bring someone home to meet the parents who is the same age as they are...

but i'm not going to say "I wont date anyone more than 10 years older than me!! that's it! no exceptions!" because... idk... maybe i could start to like someone 12 years older than me...

If you met someone that was smart, fun, attractive and interesting why would you stop and question their age? It just doesn't make any sense to me.

It depends upon the goal. If its just 'fun', than age shouldnt matter as long as its legal(any age can have 'fun')

if you plan to share responsibilities and one life,, age starts to matter as it relates to where you both are in your life path


for instance, at 40 I wouldnt want to mate with someone just entering their 20s because to truly enjoy one life , as it were, they would either have to skip alot of their life to join in my path, or I would have to regress back and do alot of my life over to join in theirs


Id rather mate(for a serious relationship)with someone at a similar place in life as I am.


BUT there are some in their fifties who are still where others are at in their twenties

or, to look at it another way


there are some in their twenties who have reached the same level as others in their fifties

,,,its about compatible emotional age,, in my opinion, which isnt guaranteed by any number

Mental age cant be

I would say if there is an attraction, then go for it. i was 19 and i dated a 24 y/o but it was complicated because of club life. then now in my late 20 i dated a 40 year old and boy she kept me going lol.

This thread has been repeated many times but my answer is always the same......I like younger guys but age is just a nimber.

all numbers are just numbers

6 and 3 are both numbers,, but 6 feet is quite different from 3 feet

likewise, someone with 40 years of life experience is probably quite a bit different from someone with 20 years
