Thats Nice:--ujGearhead-- (Thanks), for your post. Now only if people knew how to use brakes when coming to a red light, I'd still have my pony. One day I'll find another...... |

1973 MARK IV, KNEW HOW TO GET HOME BY ITSELF

I didn't own it but it belonged to my ex-wife's dad so I got to drive it and it was as cool a ponycar as ever existed!
'69 camaro pace car edition It had a 375 horse 350cid engine that was so smooth. They all had the racing stripes and I think they were all convertibles ... his was a rag top. I still want one. |

There was a '69 identical to that at a dealer right down the street from my apartment in college. |

I loved my first car....a 1971 Chevy Malibu that my brothers tricked out for me... It was gold with a black roof and my brothers put in a powerful engine and mag wheels on the back so the nose was lower. I never should have listened to my ex-husband and sold it.

Sounds a little like one that I have. '70 Malibu (gold with black interior and vinyl top), but mine's completely original even down to the factory AM radio and hubcaps. |

My brothers had a habit of crashing their Cutlass' so I was given the parts that fit my car, that were still usuable. My ex hates muscle cars because he looks like a moron driving them, he had an 86 Hyundai Elantra at the time. So when he got in my car, he said "Let's see what this POS can do....like fall apart" After about ten seconds I asked if I could slow down....because I was doing 95 and had only gotten my license a few weeks before.... |

An Elantra? That's one good thing about GM's. They used to like sharing parts between lots of different cars. I know all about 'salvaging' pieces. I've crashed quite a few Camaros over the years and stockpiled quite a bit of 1st-3rd generation F-body parts for the 4 that I still own. |

I also had a 1970 "Superbee" with a 440 and a six pack! Exactly like this one Fastest car ive ever owned or been in EVER! |

'84 volvo station wagon. biggest car i ever had. great gem. yep i am kinda watching for an eighties model volvo or mercadies wagon but a diesel one to convert to veg oil think i will pull the back eat and make an oil tank there for fuel should be able to hold 50 gallons or more would think then put cushion seat material over it maybe i know but i rarely have a backseat rider and veg oils is no where near as explosive as gasoline or even diesel |

Not the same kinda big as a volvo. I ended pulling the motor/trans for a project and sold the remains to some guy who wanted it for demolition derbys. Still ended up making twice as much as I paid for it in the first place. hehe |
