I don't think having a handle on what matters to you makes you a jerk. It makes you self-aware and informed. Other people may disagree with your priorities list, they may call you shallow or superficial, but that's THEIR problem.

I usually DEVELOP that interest after getting to know the person and having other types of chemistry first,,, like emotional and intellectual chemistry,,,,

Similar interests, sense of humor (a sarcastic sense of humor is even better), a guy who won't judge

It not that i usually dont talk peeps unless im attracted to em. Some chicks are friend n im not sexually attracted to em. Its just they are fun to be around n it feels good. For a total stranger, I'll go for looks at first then get to know em better

Absolutely, because with a total stranger, all you have to work with (initially) is the appearance. From there, hopefully, if you're drawn to them in any way, you get a chance to talk to the person and communicate, get to know more about how their minds work, etc.

But for me, I know that (generally) there's a difference between being attracted to somebody right off the bat in a physical sense, and being drawn to someone as a friend. I'm not going to be in a relationship with someone I'm not attracted to physically, but in a friendship scenario, that doesn't apply.
