Topic: "Passion's Flames" | |
---|---|
A touch, soft and tender.
A whisper, full of desire A gasp of sweet surrender As passion fuels the fire No words spoken between them No promises to be kept No lies being told tonight No looking back - no regrets Longing to hold each other Such precious little time Both vowed to another Being lonely their only crime Tomorrow bringing sorrow A brief moment of shame With the memory of this one night A release from passion's flames |

yeah, passionate sex is nice...but if you do happen to attract like two magnets that damn passion will drive you crazy when it rebels against reason and even intuition. Plus there is no gaurantee that the chemistry for great passion will be there...and I think I might just feel empty. I hope I don't sound too negative...I am more like Cinde****arella..."I want the fairy tale."

I think your a great writter. This poem tells me that lonelyness in your relationship with your husband is driving you into someone else's arms. Love is about a commitment that is a sacrifice at times. But the testing of your strength in that commitment is the challenge. Working on your communication skills to share what it is that you feel is missing in your relationship is a skill that is so important to learn and teach to your children. The passion is like eating a candy bar when your hungry, it taste so good but then left unsatisfied, because there is nothing there of nutritional value, most of the time. It sounds good, in words, but after the fire your left cleaning up the ashes. Guilt, back to the same situation and also the betrayal of your husband and his wife. Sounds like a pink lace nighty covering a open scare. Heal the wound and feel better soon.

But don't forget it does take passion to love...and don't ever feel guilty for not feeling what you don't feel and don't ever think that love can be forced from anyone cos if you have to force it, it is not love. I don't know your situation...all I know is that the need for love is a great passion and will indeed make sex more fulfilling.

missansboury, i am not married, i am not in a relationship. I actually wrote this poem for a friend of mine after she told me what she was feeling after a 1 night stand. You have great insight into things and I appreciate all that you have said. It keeps my faith in my writing strong.
