I've dated someone that was 48 only 11 years older then me and it was great when it was just us 2 but when the kids were around his kids thought it was ok to over rule my kids..he didn't step in. And he never called me or text me during the week..unless he called it was late at night and maybe only for 5 min.

Oh alexia, there you go again.

To tell you the truth, I've recently
had several women who are more than
10 years younger than me who are interested
in me. And they contacted me first.

Perhaps they want a man who is more mature,
someone who is able to commit to
one woman.

From what I've seen of some younger
men, a lot of them are immature
and possibly still playing the field.
They might still be reading Harry Potter
books or be more interested in playing
with their Nintendos than meeting and
romancing women.

That's not to say they are all that
way, some are more mature than their years
as well.

To think I should date a woman in her
60s is just laughable and absurd beyond words.

Maybe if I was older.

You really shouldn't pigeonhole people
or slap labels on them.

I've studied psychology too and I know
that psychologists/psychiatrists tend
to categorize people, perhaps unfairly,
since it simplifies things for them.

But people are a lot more complex than
that and shouldn't be mislabeled, generalized
or miscategorized.

This is what Mnhiker wrote.........
"To tell you the truth, I've recently

For those, that have not read this thread, Mnhiker was complaining that several women from another site told he him that he was TOO OLD for them when he attempted to contact them. When I asked for the age of these ladies & some other posters disagreed with him, he refused to tell and started calling names. Surprise, Surprise. This suggests a lack of immaturity.

This is what MNhiker further states.......
"From what I've seen of some younger

This again suggests lack of maturity. He is putting down others. Demonstrates a strong desire to discredit others while boasting about himself. In addition, I would also note that age does not dictate maturity. I also find it a bit odd that he discredit thoses that enjoy the literary world. Hmm, this may suggest inferior/superior complex. On the other hand, to be frank, there is not enough evidence at this point to draw that conclusion, but it does raise the question.

This is what MNhiker further states.......
"To think I should date a woman in her

or slap labels on them."

In the previous posts, you will see that Mnhiker indicated that he dates women his age and younger, so long as they were at least 21 years old. Since he was pretending that age does not matter, I propose the question whether he would date a woman older such as in her fifties or sixties since he is almost 40 himself. Thus, if he was willing to date someone almost 20 years younger than himself, why shouldn't he be willing to date someone who is 10 - 20yrs older. His response shows that he holds a different opinion when the shoe is on the other foot. Thus, indicating he is not so "open minded" as he claimed to be. It also demonstrates his willingness to distort reality and misrepresent information.

Mnhiker continued to write........
"I've studied psychology too and I know
that psychologists/psychiatrists tend
to categorize people, perhaps unfairly,
since it simplifies things for them.

This shows Mnhiker's lack of comprehension of the profession of psychology & psychiatry. Most psychiatrist and psychologist take a multi-disciplinary approach knowing the complexity of their work. Anyone who has study psychology beyond 101 psych knows this!
