I'm so proud that I (last night) was the last to post on 6 forums at one time. My victory was short lived but none the less seeing my name 6 times in the last post column either meant that I

am a mingle addict

want to see my name in lights

very lonely and need to be noticed

bored out of my mind

unaware that there is a real life waiting for me

have accepted that mingle is the only real life

have found a new religion (mingleism) (that would make me a mingleite)

No I haven't won any of the games yet (curse you manO), but I do have my victory all the same (in my own eyes).

Well, let's see -- crowning achievements? There have been a few.

The interminable appeal of ONE GLORIOUS PROFILE, still the funniest thing on the net, in my opinion. I didn't start it, but it was one of my rants that gave the OP his original impetus, and I've contributed a few bits 'n pieces to it since then.

The feedback I've gotten on my writing here. When you get people like Equus and LAMom and Whisper and Teddy and Eileen and so many others noticing and commenting, it makes it all worthwhile.

Bonny's "Lex Fonteyne Mutual Appreciation Society" thread.

My ongoing contributions to the Proper Use of Apostrophes Foundation (PUAF).

The chance to work with a crew of Admins and Mods who not only do a great job, but have a lot of fun while doing so.

And mostly, the chance to have run into so many great people, the kind of people I can only dream about ever knowing in real life. I don't know how so many good ones ended up here, but I am not complaining. Not about that, anyway.

Mingle ambition? I know this is silly, but I would still like to actually find a girlfriend prospect here. Yeah, I know. But still....

After these many years here I have decided...it's a cult. We have been drawn in by the beckoning of pretty faces and sweet promises. They have addicted us to the forums..we cannot have a real life because there is no longer a life outside of Mingle. Morning, noon and night finds us here glued to our screens waiting for the next post..who will post..friend or foe,( I'm talking manO here, you know how he is.) or will it be sneaks?

mine is i met some great people as i go along here an hope to meet a great friend from here as well some are nice an some just don't get ya but its all still fun place too be i wouldn't be any other place

Its ok, they wont have any idea what i am saying ,because when I have to speak in front of people I giggle. So it will not matter what I say as i wont be able to say anything plus if everyone is like anaconda they wont understand what I am saying anyway..

oh...you must be from the north..

Yes way up North, in the Northern territory Australia.. I think its a mixture of the accent and the fact that most of our words are abreviated and we dont have many gaps when we speak.. apparently our words run together.
When I visited America in some places Anaconda had to speak for me so the people understood, like I was speaking another language or that i was a child who couldnt talk properly Its realy frustrating when you know what you are saying but they dont understand you. It sounded OK to me.
