It was just a little powder during the night. I saw it coming down so I turned the truck around so it was pointing toward the road. This has been our best winter in a long time.

It is a very mild winter even for my mom in MI the lake hasn't froze up yet. So maybe I will be able to drive up in March.

I was just glad I got the rest of the old chicken house burnt down, yesterday. Mom said once that it should be dozed to the back of the property. She said she tried her best to raise chickens and eggs but the varmints would give her no peace. The varmints really enjoyed eating the chickens and eggs she had. I am going to use some of the tin from the old chicken house on the new bathroom and those plastic milk containers that she used for chicken nests I am going to clean some of those out to store stuff in. Want not waste not as my dad used to say.

Morning everyone, brrrrr , 16 here this morning, windy and snowing... Looks like we have several inches on the ground.. They were calling for up to 4"...I'm going back to bed for a while..lol Need to call my granddaughter later, today is her 27th birthday.. Hope you all have a great day!

Still very cold here at 5pm, 19 degrees, very windy and snow blowing everywhere.. Yes, I went out to see how the roads are.. Not bad but blowing across the roads where the corn fields were...
