But the Truth is , Jesus is not just our "god", but instead,

Jesus is just as much GOD as the Father is GOD...... both are

equally GOD .

The info and scriptures shared in the posts made earlier

(see posts above ), made this soooooooooo crystal clear..yet..it

did not take.

Only God can make His Word clear ..no one else can....no matter

how much one may try to help one see.

It just ain't gonna happen.....

Only God and God alone, is able to OPEN one's eyes to see

TRUTH.

:heart::heart::heart:

if Jesus is equal to The Father...then why didn't Jesus have the same knowledge as the Father when Jesus claimed that he himself didn't know the time of Judgement Day ....

let's see if you can answer that question without making Jesus seem less than a God ....because if you can't....then you yourself would have provided the very proof that Jesus is not as knowledgable as The Father and therefore not Equal to The Father

When someone says his name is great. Do they mean that his name is literally Great? Or that his name has great purpose?

Cowboy...there are some people with the name Great on their birth certificate....if you are unsure ask for ID........I'm not getting the point you are trying to make

Immanuel = God with us.

Jesus is our god. And he came and dwelt among us "God with us".

if you picked Jesus as your God then that is your right...some people even choose Satan as their God ....but according to the prophecy The Messiah name would be call Immanuel...not Satan or Jesus nor "God with US"

No Funches,... Cowboy still just believes Jesus

is just our "god", not God.

??? Jesus is our God, Jesus is god. That's saying the same thing. Jesus and the father are one.

"These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,"

My God, his God, your God, OUR God, it's all the same God. Don't know why you keep dragging this out. So again, I keep mistakenly putting lower case. This is just a discussion on God, it's the knowledge shared that is important not the grammar.

Jesus is not equal to God the father. Want to point out the last little bit of this, "for my father is greater than I."
John 14:28

28Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Also on this I want to share a verse that specifically says it the way I say it. Doesn't say Jesus is "God", says Jesus is "Your God". And yes I apologise once again for not putting it up in upper case. Again, just a grammatical error.

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

MorningSong...the bible makes it clear That the Father is greater than Jesus and Jesus is not equal to God as in the passage Cowboy provided ....

but in relations as to whether Jesus is equal to God, all one has to do is ask theirself a simple question

can God create a rock that Jesus can't lift ...

and take in mind that Jesus had a tad bit of trouble lifting a wooden cross

They are two separate being that make up one. Is your hand not a separate object in it's own? Is your arm not a separate object as well, yet both those and many more separate objects make up you.

so Cowboy ...are you saying that you have a hand that have the ability to exist as a seperate being from your body and make it's own decisions ... even go to the washroom by itself?

ok...I saw your hand do that on youtube

While Jesus was on Earth, he took on the form of a servant, a normal person. Jesus wasn't out to make a reputation for himself, so why would he make the cross carry itself? God didn't have to do it that way, again God humbled himself.

Philippians 2:8
8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross

Philippians 2:6
6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God

Philippians 2:7

He took on the FORM of a servant. Was only temporary. Jesus was out to make no reputation. Would he have remained a lowly servant if he was out to make a reputation of himself? No. What he did, he did in his father's name, giving all the glory to his father not for himself.

Cowboy...telling somneone that you are the son of God is not being humble....but you said that Jesus was only a normal guy ...God is clearly not a normal guy ...you simply allowed a man to fool you into believing that he is a God ...it happens to a lot of people...

Very true, but it was only temporary while he was here. Jesus himself is our God, he just took on the form of a servant temporarily. You speak in terms of two different people.

When Jesus is in Heaven eg., when he is our God, he is just that, our God. He just humbled himself and came in the form of a servant. And again, it was only temporary.

Let the word twisting begin.

He was God, just in the form of a servant.

Water is water, weather it's froze or in liquid form. It is nevertheless H2O. Water in the form of a solid, is ICE, but nevertheless it is H2O.

Jesus being in the form of a servant nevertheless is God, just in the form of a servant.

The Father is Greater than Jesus...and one part of the water is not greater than the other part...which is why your water analogy doesn't fit the point

Jesus being in the form of a servant nevertheless is God, just in the form of a servant.
