Hahahaha! That's laughable really. I ve dated about 3 or 4 girls in my life and the furthest i went was a kiss with one of them - The others? Absolutely nothing apart from a hug. Yes, a hug. As a christian that's non-negotiable

I don't know any guys willing to wait. Even among Christians it's become normal to have sex outside of marriage. If you won't, they are not gonna hang around. I'm sure there are some out there, but, at my age, they are already married.

In answer to your question, yes, as a Christian you cannot have sex until you are married.

i was raised as a catholic and how many catholics do you know that are single parents and have never been married.
and yes they can have sex even if they have not been married

It is a mortal sin to have sex outside of a valid marriage in Catholicism. Just because many Catholics do it, doesn't mean it is allowed.

I feel they should and I know you'll find someone. It's hard, I know this from personal experience. But I have faith they are out there. I myself can, do, and want to have a dating relationship without sex. So I know the men are out there for you, keep your chin up and don't give in please. Stay strong.

I'm pretty sure you know the answer to this one. Of course there are guys out there willing to wait, you just haven't met any yet. If you're Christian and want to follow a Christian path, I would suggest finding a good church and looking there for a good Christian man. Not to say that you won't find one online or anywhere else though.

As an atheist, I've said 'lets not' many times. I'm a very physically affectionate person (confidently, indiscriminately, and unapologetic-ally so), which sometimes sends the wrong signals, leading to women wanting to have sex with me when I'm not really interested. I've said

"Let's not, I'm in too love with another girl"
"Let's not, your son will hear us"
"Let's not, I have a sexual partner and I'd rather just hold you."
"Let's not, it will stir our feelings and cloud our judgement and I'd rather we get to know each other without sexual attachment"
"Lets not, you've had too much too drink"
"Lets not, its totally wrong - what with you being in a relationship" "Lets not, the cops patrol the harbor at night"

If I believed in God, I would absolutely seek to bring my sexual habits in line with whatever I thought would improve my relationship with God. I already adapt my sexual habits to improve my relationship with myself, and with others.

I think we often get into an (understandable) funk which causes us to lump people together in what we expect or dont expect from them


Try not to assume that as a woman you are capable/incapable of the emotions and values of a man or vice versa

its probably true though, that in a western culture which promotes sexuality(especially in men)well above abstinence,, its going to be more of a minority willing to 'wait'

but then, that minority is worth waiting for just as much as we are,,,

What has always interested me and probably might be boring for some is the 'begat' section in the old testament. You ever read where they lived a long time and then he 'knew' his wife? Some people might just scan over this and not get anything out of this but that they had sex. But consider how long they lived until the days were shortened of man. It makes one wonder just long it takes to 'know' some people or if we really ever do. Have ever wondered about people who 'knew' someone for a long time to find out that they really didn't like each other but they had kids together?

There are guys who would wait for sex. It depends on how the relationship is presented to them. If you dont want sex until a certain goal is achieved, then you have to stay away from anything sexual. That could mean no touching. If you, or the person that you choose have had sex already then unless you dont like each other, its going to be tough. You will Sin one way or another. You will find a way to relieve each other without intercourse,or relieving yourself by Masturbating. The longest i would ever wait for any physical sexual relieve from someone i liked is 2 weeks. And thats because i know other living with someone, i cant see them every day.
