I will be having surgery. I have been waiting over a year and a half for this to be done and it's finally happening! I am excited but nervous as **** at the same time. Long story short, it's gastrointestinal surgery. So it's kinda major. I'd just like everyone to pray that it goes well and I don't have any major complications. This is a revision of what I had done when I was 16 and I have had nothing but problems with that original one. So I hope they get it right this time.
Thanks for listening ....er...I mean, reading (P.S. My grandmother is doing much better. Thanks for the positive feedback on that) |

If you would like to freak out your doctors..
(I learned this from having ambulatory surgery once, where they can't give you a lot of stuff to whack you out completely.) Anyway, when you are on the countdown to unconsciousness, as the drugs pass through your pituitary gland, you can taste them, but more important, you have like 8 seconds to unconsciousness. I use that time to freak them out, like, 'Ibbity, ibbity, that's all folks' as your head falls sideways. Or "I am leaving now!' Just for YOU, SuzieQ :-) |

I said "Doc! I have something important to tell you"....... Bam! out like a light. Suzanne, I'm not a praying man but my thoughts are with you. |
