It was a pretty good day, thanks mg ... nice and quiet here so I got plenty of rest. My BP was a little high but not bad, really. The cable guy finally showed up so my connection is working better. The girls had fun swimming. Nice.

Heading out for the Vegas fireworks! Some of you are having yours right now. So much fun. I can see everything from my house but think me and my dog are going to get a closer view yet. She loves the fireworks!

It rained on an off today but cleared up enough for fireworks tonight. I had an enjoyable IM chat with one of my FL friends.

I'm excited! Should be sticking a pin in our distributor map for Malaysia in the next couple of days. Go MGA/RoomTune!
Having a chance to see the new distribution network get built is a blast for me. It was sad for me to see so many businesses go under in the bad US economy. I went from 950 dealers US carrying my products down to 10 believe it or not. The mom and pop audio shops got wiped off the planet in 13 years. Shocking! Only some of the on-line stores survived. But people didn't want to give up on my designs so I didn't sell out, except for one of the designs that Herman Miller wanted. Now we are seeing new distributors pop up to carry the line and showing off the products. YES! My new CEO tells me that we will have a full display at the CES (Consumer Electronic Show) this year. Seeing this movement gives me so much hope that the US can rebound and stand proud as designers and suppliers again. The US was built on mom and pops and my hat goes off to anyone who was able to hang in there through the pounding. My heart goes out to those still taking a beating. "be who you are and stick out among the crowd" The US needs to start looking at the opportunity of this new world and bring back a lot of mom and pops for the locals. I'm including on-line folks in that too. Be brave and hang in there people. We can build the US again! be positive be light |
