Ive just watched the 2006 version of The Wicker Man, and as rubbish as it is compared to the original, i've got a sudden fixation to watch loads of Nicolas Cage films. Has anyone got any recommendations of any of his films what you probably think I haven't seen?

My favorites were ConAir and Ghost Rider. Although he's generally excellent in any role he plays.

I'm still trying to figure out how he is one of the highest paid actors in the world, but is also broke.

I thought Con Air was brilliant. I wasn't too sure about his casting in Ghost Rider though. I thought he was too old. I didn't know he was broke but that is probably going to happen when you spend money on a castle lol

So it is good then and the critics got it right? I usually wait for everybody else to tell me if a film is worth watching.

'Next' is a pretty quick moving action film

and 'Captain Corellis Mandolin' is still an EXCELLENT choice for romance

'8 mm' is the epitomy of twist and fetish

and I really enjoyed the cinematography of 'Snake Eyes'

'The Rock' was a cool collaberation with Sean Connery

and

I actually love the grit/revenge plot of 'Kiss of Death'

oh, and of course, him playing John Travolta playing him in

'Face Off'

National Treasure was a fun romp but Face Off was the one that made me take notice of him, originally. THAT was an amazing movie!

Vampire's Kiss is one of Cage's best performances in my opinion. Watching him slowly go mad is great fun to watch.

He's excellent in Adaptation, Leaving Las Vegas, and Raising Arizona. Also Valley Girl, Birdy, The Cotton Club, Wild At Heart, and Red Rock West.

Oh, I liked Face Off too, even 8 mm and The Rock. But I liked National Treasure best because it was fun. Something I can watch again after some time and still enjoy. :)

Raising With The Moon is good, both Cage and Sean Penn are good together as friends.

Here are his best films:

Wild at Heart - It's a cult classic

Red Rock West - Pretty interesting movie

Raising Arizona

Can't believe how many people are stuck in mainstream!
