On June 13th my little boy (11 months) had to get an MRI. He had to be put under and everything, I think I cried more than he did. Doctor's thought he had fluid on his brain because he has an over size head.
Found out the results yesterday and the MRI was normal!!!!!
I'm so happy my little boy doesn't have to get surgery like the doctor thought he just has a big head!!
:D

I'm truly happy to hear that your boy is doing well... despite being labeled "normal". And no surgery was required.
But my autistic tendencies lead me to ask... what was up with his head being large enough for you to persue investigation?
Were there no other reasons given?

Thank you everyone!

Were there no other reasons given?

He was born with a head in the 25% and when he was about 4 months his head was in the 98%
His doctor refered him to a specialist where he had to get is head ultrasound. The ultrasound came back normal.
When he was about 9 months he had to go in for a fallow up because his head was in the 100%.
The doctor kept saying that there is a problem and not just a big head due to the growth. He said my son had to get an MRI to figure out the exact cause of the large head, but as it turns out he is a healthy child with a slightly big head. Personally I can't even tell he has a big head.
