yep! I really hate farmville...lol! I live on an old horse farm so I don't wanna play farmer online, my time is better spent mending real fences, wrangling ponies & returning lost livestock, etc...LOL

I love Facebook! My family is spread out all over the world and so are my friends. It's the best way for me to keep up on what's happening with us. We can play games together, email and chat too.

I first joined under my maiden name because a friend mentioned the site. She was on the reunion committee of my old high school and told me that a lot of the people we knew are on there. I reconnected with friends I hadn't seen for 30 years. It's great.

Facebook is a huge waste of time! I like that i get to keep in touch with family and friends but damn its not real so its not like your really keeping in touch. So i do it with moderation and pretty much just use it to share family photos.

Facebook is one of the sites I frequent because that's also where I get to keep in touch with my friends and family both from afar and the near ones too. It's giving me the convenience of setting any activities or events with them thru it. With the gadgets that this technology offers today, anyone can multi-task while being on line anytime, anywhere so it could really be an advantage having an account such as an FB. I don't do farmvile and the likes though.

I have facebook because it's the only way I can keep in touch with what's going on in my family. apparently when they all discovered that site they all forgot how to use a phone lol

My point was why let everyone have access to the info on facebook? Why not save that for those who you actually get to know?

Then again, maybe I use facebook a bit differently. I use it to keep in touch with people I do know, rather than to meet new people.

I practically live on FB. LOL I'm currently a stay-at-home mom, and I've been out of the work force for a long time, so I don't know too many people, or have too many "real life" friends. Most of my best buds are online, and I've met people from all over the world. It's great. The person I consider my best friend is from Scotland (I"m American) and we talk to each other on FB pretty much every day, as well as talked through Skype, which is the next best thing to actually being in the room with someone.

Facebook has been a great resource to keep in touch with my family around the world. Sharing pictures, stories and life happenings. I got to see my great nephew within minutes of his birth! That was awesome!

I actually have two facebook pages, a personal one, and then my professional facebook page. I figured I might as well, because honestly, I'd rather give off a good impression more then anything.
