OK... a few years ago I decided that not many white people have brown eyes. In fact, I believe that race/eye color combination is rare. I've discussed this theory of mine with many friends, but they always end up saying, "no way."

So... if you're white, tell me: What color are your eyes?

(Note - My findings will be published in some imaginary scientific journal for further research; of course under the funding of your tax dollars.)

I am not white... I am sort of beige. And on my forearm there is a big dark liver mark, like on a Jersey cow. And my vericose veins on my legs are blue, sorta light blue if you catch my meaning.

My eyes started out as... I don't know, I was too young to notice. Most babies, if not all, get born with some grayish-blue eyes, but I may be mistaking them for Cabbage Patch Dolls. (If you are old enough to know what they were.)

Now my eyes are dark. In my youth they were brown-hazel. They are dark now, coz I take drops to prevent my glaucoma from spreading.

Erm... My dad had blue eyes, the most lovely, clear blue eyes. He was Hungarian. My mom had dark brown eyes. She was Jewish. My brother has dark brown eyes, and my sister has green eyes.

Maybe we all come from different mothers and fathers. I dunno. My parents categorically denied that. I never trusted them for knowing who my mother was.

any trait that is a double recessive will be more unusual than a D/r or a D/D ot an r/D

My mom has blue eyes, my sisters all have brown, but one of my sisters has children with someone who has blue eyes, and some of their babies have blue eyes, some have brown. Another sister of mine has brown eyes, her husband brown eyes, their child, blue eyes.
