Yep, men have a different outlook cause of our difference in testosterone. We can side, even agree with you, but we are still driven by a different urge. My wife (I feel) did a good job in training me, but she did it with tons and tons of love so I didn't know it was taking place. I didn't realize how much till I started hanging around guys mainly again.

Bottom line is (from what I have seen) if you try to take a guy head on he's going to give you his natural manly response. If you win his testosterone over with love he will be a piece of clay. Loyal to you, dedicated to you and as much ego as you want him to have.

Personally my wife loved my ego cause she also taught me how to laugh at it and not take it seriously. She never went a day knowing she did not own me. And I loved it!!!

Let me edit this and add. Being owned by a thoughtful woman is the greatest feeling a man can ever have shy of meeting God himself.

I can't speak for other women, but I wouldn't want to own a guy.

MG, you are a lucky guy. I might want to say I envy you, but the word feels too strong.

Some men are too caught up in maintaining their machismo. There are so many things which define being a man. Too many seem to focus on being loud, rude, and obnoxious. Others focus too much on sexual exploits. Not enough focus on building a manly sense of character.

Then again, viewing it from another angle, I suppose it is simply the men who behave badly who make the greatest lasting impression upon our minds. As I think about it, I know plenty of men who do not act like pigs, far more than those that do. Unfortunately, they are not the ones that first come to mind when talking about the gender gap.

I know several men who don't act like pigs, actionlynx. You seem to think that women think all men are the same, which just isn't true.

Well, at least one person understood my meaning.

Seems like that's the norm for me.

*sigh*

I guess I'll just get out of Dodge before I come under attack by more who misinterpret my meaning.

I found it COMPLETELY ironic that my BUTT FACED UGLY brother had to pipe up about Ahhhnold and the maid, that she was so butt ugly who would want that. I couldn't help but bring it up that HE, my brother, is so butt faced ugly and so is his wife but they managed to get laid every now and then, and that Ahhhhnold was the one who scored in that laison as he is about as ugly as my brother.
All that aside, about who is hot and who is not...We all have our time, well, most of us have our time, our prime.
But yes, you are correct. There is still a double standard. And there just aren't enough rap songs by women touting about how they would love to denude and abuse and rape a hot male stripper.
And our dumb young lovelies who are too dumb to know they are already yesterday's new and will have to live in the past to get their oats as the dudes who adored them today have ejaculated and moved on will hopefully learn to love themselves on the insides and realize that they have beauty on their insides that are worth more than a lay, a good lay or the more prevalent...bad lay.

The point wasn't really about who gets laid more and if their getting laid with 'hot' people. Was more on is it acceptable more for men than women?

Notice how women would not go into the thread..what words make you think of sex???

The women feel they will be labeled if they do...( i don't give a rats *** what people think of me) so they stay out of the thread.
The men are quite comfortable..

I have even had female friends tell me they won't post 'nasty' because it will give them a 'bad name' on here, even on the internet there is concern.

A man can be as much a slut as a woman can, if that's the way they lead their lives. It's not acceptable either way in many people's opinions. Men are labeled as well as women. Pretty, Ugly, Inbetween... men and women get picked up and taken home. You ever hear the ol' saying, "the drunker I get, the prettier she/he looks"? laugh No double standards.

I try to keep it clean with myself unless my significant other asks me to 'talk dirty' bigsmile

That's very sweet. I never lost my faith in love. I always knew/know there are other couples out there who feel the same as you. They find the "partnership" in their marriage and excell in it. I always said that marriage/relationships should be a blending...not a takeover.
