Is it better to be different or would it be better to be the same as others?

Don't we strive for individuality making us all different? So, if you're trying to be different, you're the same as everybody else. And if you are the same, since everyone is an individual, then hehe, you are different.

I grew up in an environment where it seemed that the most important thing was to "fit in," to do what you're "supposed to do," and to spend inordinate amounts of time worrying about what other people thought of you.

Screw that. I spent years finding out that what matters is what you think of yourself.

Now I'm described as reclusive and eccentric, but that's pretty much acceptable for a "creative" type. Whatever. I just live the life that works for me, and whoever doesn't like it can go get drunk and pop out a few more kids. And good luck with that!

I am what I am. Label it anyway you want, different kind of wench, borderline lunatic, lam, law, goofball, and last, but certainly not least NaturalBornB-itch.

we are who the people say we are. (people will lable us anyway)
we are who we think we are. (we will label ourselves anyway)
we are who we really are.
The last one is the hardest we need to find out. Maybe them we will be in a better position.

i choose to be different<not a follower> i dont understand when one wants to be the same.... for individualism makes one unique...and no matter how hard you try to be the same as another u never will be because there are no 2 people just alike... so why not put your efforts into your ownself and make yourself mor unique?

No one is a mirror image of anyone. We are all differnt in one way or the other that is what makes us all unique. Everyone has things they do there own certain way they may pick up traits of othres but still there well be things that are differnt.

My self I'm just me I don't follow the footsteps of others. I have a voice and I chose when to speak up. My thoughts are not like anyone elses to a T. There may be things we think alike on but still those usually are not to a T. I don't do anything just because someone else is I do it because I want to. Actually I don't know if this world could handle two like me.
