What hobbies do you have or have you had?
What do you like to do on your day off and why?

Sleep.
Ride bikes.
Sleep.
Write.
Sleep.
Read.
Sleep some more.
Buy umbrellas.
Sleep again.
Watch horror movies.
Sleep.

Well, right now every day is a day off for me.

Apply for some jobs
Get yelled at on Mingle
Play a computer game
Have fun on Mingle
Do my school work
Email people on Mingle
Check Facebook and see bow my farm is doing
Look at Mingle and see most have gone to bed
Apply for more jobs
Think about sleep then discard it as a crazy idea
Look at the TV and realize I don't really care what is on
Check my email
Realize I haven't eaten all day and grab something
Think about sleeping again but having fun emailing on Mingle
Watch the sun come up
Realize I haven't slept in about 30 hours take a three hour nap and start over

Photography is one of my favorite hobbies.

As for what I do on my days off, it really depends on the day. Hopefully it involves sleeping in. Sometimes traveling, going to the beach, visiting someone, relaxing, reading, watching tv/movies..

i collect old dolls including old barbie dolls
snowglobes i have over 200 of them
i have 3 doll houses one is my daughters(which she gave to my oldest granddaughter and i told her she can have it when she got older)

i also collect jap items, native american items


my mom came over the other day
and had the nerve to call me a hoarder...
excuse me!! but im way far from that
she has a friend that deffently is one for you cant walk through her living room

you can walk any where in my home without a dang problem

brain waves have no function
a 3hour nap may not even do wonders
you should take a brake the rest of the day
and go to bed extremly early

When I am not cutting fire wood, cutting grass, medling in my kids lives or working or doing laundry or working in the garden I like to go on nature walks.

I go to the river and watch a beaver family in the evening or go to Pymatuning Pensylvania were I know of a secluded place were there is a blue Herron roookery with an eagles nest in the middle.

My blood presure drops and I exhale and go ahhhh life is good.

Just about anything to keep myself busy is a hobby for me

watching my kids move back home
setting down rules
quilting
woodburning
watching my kids get a house and move out
taking a deep sigh
making jewelry
soap making
planting flowers
watching them grow
watching another kid move back home
setting down rules...again
helping him find a house
reading

I write music and short stories
Drawing whatever comes to mind
pretty much it.

Horseback riding is my favorite hobby! I like training them, especially the younger ones because if you do it right the first time they never develop the issues that need to be fixed later.

I also enjoy training and just spending time with my dogs. I like to let them play @ the river while I read and soak up some sunshine.

Days off are usually spent doing the above, mingling, and hanging out with friends. My friends and I play games, watch sports, and occasionally have a party or bonfire.

I am always tierd these days.

I just eat when I'm hungry and drink when I'm dry.

Sometimes go to a restaurant.

The internet amuses me. It's not a life, but it's something to pass the years away *Sighs*

Don't like anything else...much.

I used to paint as a hobby. That was years ago. I think my hobbies are what I create around the house now. And the garden areas. Especially the garden areas. I paint now with flowers. Dirt is my new canvas :-)

I absolutely love the previous poster who posted they collected umbrellas. How cooky wonderful.!!!!!

I do artsy stuff like painting with acylics mostly expressionism and writing mostly screenplays. but damn, it pales in comparison to the umbrellas.

My all-time favorite thing to do
is write websites.
I can zone for the day.

I always believed people should make things...... for others.

At work, I manufacture a household appliance for a living(Of course it's the BEST!!!)

At play, I made cribbage boards, canoe racing paddles and wood carvings of wildlife... I've given up on the woodworking but it's nice to know ALL my pieces are preciously kept and used.

i used to crochet as i did my own pattern
for i didnt know any other
and a few months ago a friend of mine friend taught me how to do the granny square so i made a blanket for my mom for mothers day and early birthday
i made one for my granddaughter for her birthday
and im making one for my great nephew who is due this month
the granny square is so easy and takes less time

Currently, archery with a longbow, and learning to play my didgeridoo! LOL!
