Okay,I no we all have thought of the perfect wedding, the dress rings, pics cake, etc.Hopefully if are dream comes true we will never wear that dress again.
Eva Longoria(desperate housewifes)Tony Parker (pro basketball player)so we no they make big bucks. But I think it's insane for anyone to pay $70,000 for a dress,$30,000 for a cake and $300,000 for the chateau.I mean really if you had that kind of money, would you spend it like that? Not me it would be going to help people in need, homeless, abused, shelters, health care for elderly, and soliders that don't get the care they deserve.I mean if your truly in love that's all that matters, not how much everything should cost. What are your thought's?

I agree. When I make my million in Vegas I'm donating it all to the Old Monkey's Home.

Well, sure, it's crazy to spend that kind of money on trivialities, but what's REALLY crazy is that they got married! What the hell were they THINKING?

On the bright side, they shouldn't have any difficulties paying the divorce lawyers....

They are helping the economy, by spending , I've worked Weddings of very well off people and I didn't complain when they over tipped me.

This is all about image...nothing more. In some ways it might be the publics fault because we demand that kind of excess and opulence by our stars and athletes. You're right, that money could have been well spent on their favorite charities and no, I would never feel the need to spend money in that manner. But, I don't have either one of their salaries, demands by the public and press, or the pressure they go through....and I am quite happy as me.

Sure I've got nice tips too,but get real<you can have just as beautiful of a wedding for what they paid for the cake. And I hope not,but like Lex said they'll have just as much for divorce lawyers. If maybe more of the stars would donate some of there money to charities,we would not be in the shape were in.

Better to give then receive

people like that....just have money to burn, it's that simple. I've heard of people that go into hock for weddings. To me, it's just a waste. Even when I was in my early 20's and was getting married for the 1st time...I would never have my parents go crazy and spend thousands that they did not have at the time...

sure we would, pkh. it's not the stars or athletes that got us in the sad shape we're in....it's our government. they can find more ways to waste money on any level and it's not up to the celebs and sports stars to bail them out. giving tax cuts to all their buddies...well....I'll stop.....

I have the strangest plans for my wedding. It's called a preacher, a prayer, and a one way ticket outta Lucedale.

I did the big wedding. The gigantic train, the flowers, the food, the music, the blah blah blah. The only thing I remember now about that day is the kiss.

And the fact that they dropped my wedding cake... nice sign, eh? laugh
