Doctor Martin Luther King Jr.

He actually made movements without the use of violence just like Jesus tried over 2000 years ago.

I am happy that Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. has a holiday named after him.

Amen!

and this message is provided to you from an agnostic man!

Christians are simply those who are spiritually

born again.

( just because someone is a church goer , doesn't

neccesarily make someone a christian)

In other words, a true christian is simply put , a christian.

Period.

One CANNOT even be called a christian, unless one is born again.

All christians begin their new life as babes....

poopooing in their spiritual diapers a lot....

drinking the milk of the Word....and then advancing to pablum.

And over a period of time,

christians are able to finally dine on the meat of the Word;

but if eaten too soon, they may choke on it.

Just like babies that are born in the natural,

christians eventualy mature into aduts

and then full grown christians .

Or, at least they should,

if they eat their daily bread and meat of the Word.

But not all do.

Sadly, because not all christians spend time in the Word,

they are malnourished spiritually....

and some can still be found in the spiritual nursery,

even after 20 years of being born again.

They simply refuse to grow up.

Just like some people in the natural.

Yep I have met a lot of wonderful people who Love God, especially in 7 day adventists and Mormons, they seem to live what they preach and are normally gentle people..

The saddest thing is when people think they are very spiritual and then begin to think that they are better than others, thats when they become judgemental..
But I have met a lot of people who I would class as christians and are very genuine, but I've also met a lot of the others who would love to stone you for your sins..

There are christians in every denomination....

but not all within any given denomination are christians.

There are different degrees of maturity among christians....

as well as among nonchristians.

That is why we have to look to God and not man.....

man will let us down.

Christians are to

Love.

Forgive.

Pray.

With a Sincere Heart.

For All...

And Let God do the rest.

One thing that I know for sure is that many will say that they are Christians
however they believe in a different Jesus or a different Gospel ...
For an example the Mormons or the Jehovah witnesses...
I was raised as a Mormon and unfortunately Joseph Smith is a
false prophet. Jesus warned us of false teachers and prophets.
That is why we should never get caught up in a religious organization.
Jesus is all we need, The truth shall set you free.

Also, We will always have the religious folk

among us too,

those that are not saved but just are religious.

Religious spirits can operate within any religion...

thru the people....

and that is one of the major tools that the enemy uses .....

especially to give

Christianity a bad name.

(Lea, you are kind....Thank You for your kind words.flowerforyou

Christianity is the idol worship of Jesus as God.

The only thing that most Christians will recognize as "True Christianity" is the idol worship of Jesus as an idol image of God.

Anything less than this they will renounce as being "non-Christian".

It's solely a practice of worshiping Jesus as an idol.

And rightfully so. Because Christianity is nothing more than the idol worship of Jesus. Period.

I don't know what you think a "true Christian" is, and I don't know if that is a compliment or not.

I guess the post was simply your opinion. I don't agree with it.

True Christian in terms of how he practice his rights as a human being. If you recall blacks in the southeast have had it very hard being denied many things we take for granted. He made a movement so big and so large it moved an entire nation. He preached and sung songs when blacks where being beaten down with sticks, hosed with water to where they were flipped off their backs and land on their face, to the Klu Klux Klan burning blacks on crosses.

Regardless of what happened to the blacks they continued to peacefully protest and demand the same rights as any human being. They wanted to not be treated as savages, as second class citizens if even that.

In 1961 they were even allowed to finally ride a Greyhound bus!

They finally could go to restaurants and bathrooms not segregated to them. They were allowed to buy a jug of milk for the first time!

If one needs to follow a bible then one should actually follow his example on how to resolve differences. It took a tremendous amount of courage to what he did and it costed him his life. I know people who don't follow the bible word by word for they don't agree with everything it says, yet they do follow the acts Jesus taught and I believe Martin Luther King Jr. studied that intensively to do the brave acts he and many thought was the right thing to do.

Nevertheless, he is for some the last true christian. I say this for so many christians do exactly the opposite. A eye for eye, tooth for tooth. They become irresponsible, arrogant, and allow themselves to do the actual acts that Jesus advocated against. They call themselves Christians or whatever denomination there is and in the end they become poor characteristic personalities.

Therefore the last christian that walked on this earth was Doctor Martin Luther King Jr and yes this is a personal opinion Jeannie.

Since then the religion has become a mythology lost in its translations and used for personal gains bringing negative impact to many lives around the world. It has waged wars, hindered technology, and made a strong movement in this country supporting creationism that aligns well with the bible that was written by frustrated desert nomads.

I may not agree with the bible, but I do agree with Jesus and his teachings (many of them) and honor Martin Luther King Jr. for following such footsteps to win what is only right for every EARTHLING that shares this world. The right to freedom, rights, and happiness.

Do not thrive on negativity but take what positive is available in every teaching mankind has offered. I will take Dr. Martin Luther King's teaching of non violence seriously, which was passed on with his studies of Jesus and others he may have followed.

There are still some true Christians and true peaceful non-Christians among us. I would not call him the last true Christian, neither would I give him all the credit for the changes in the black movements. There are many others.

I don't agree that King was the last true

Christian;

however.....

other than that, I DO understand what Greeneyman is trying

to say here.

Martin Luther King most definitely , was One of the FINEST

examples of

what a Christian

is all about......

but Thankfully....

GOD is Not done with Us....

He WILL clean up His Church( the church...meaning the Body of

Christ ).

I never thought of it that way, but you could be right.

Well it basically is correct. The whole idea behind "Christianity" is based entirely on a belief that Jesus was "The Christ".

And that's idol worship no matter how you cut it.

Moreover, all Christians are necessarily Jews. Because before a person can accept that Jesus was the messiah they must first believe in the prophecies of Judaism.

So "Christians" are really nothing more than "Jews" who have accepted that Jesus was the messiah of Judaism.

Now, of course, there will be controversy over this because there are different meanings to the term "Jew". Some people feel that "Jewish" refers to a biological "race". In that case all "Jews" are not Jewish in terms of believing in "Judaism". Albert Einstein was considered to be a "Jew" but he certainly didn't believe in "Judaism".

The other meaning of the term "Jew" is a political term referring to anyone who is a member of the nation of "Israel". In any sense anyone can become a "Jew" by simply becoming a valid citizen of Israel.

But if we stick to just religion, and consider a "Jew" to be someone who believes in "Judaism", then all Christians are necessarily "Jews" since they must first accept Judaism before they accept accept that Jesus is the messiah predicted by Judaism.

It's makes no sense to speak of Jesus as "The Christ" outside of a belief in Judaism, because that's where the whole idea comes from in the first place.

So all Christians are just Jews who idolize Jesus as "The Christ" which is a concept that comes straight out of Judaism. Without Judaism there would be no reason to idolize Jesus as "The Christ".

So all Christians are ultimately Jews in terms maintaining a belief in Judaism. Toss out Judaism, and the very concept of "The Christ" necessarily goes with it.
