I don't care for flowers or gifts I know that is weird, I like the companionship of a man, dosen't matter what we do, go to movies, go to the park, go out to eat, unfortunetly I do that once with a man and they expect sex right off the bat, so don't know if romance even exists anymore.whoa

Hey, I am with you that I don't like flowers or gifts. Always felt like that was a way to buy my love. As for romance; to me its dead. Right now I can't even stand the thought of even dating a man. They truly are a waste of my time when I could do better things with my life.

well I can't think of anything better to do with my life really - just felt like being crabby

Not me; I have lots to do; especially with my music, hobbies, traveling, concerts, and my workouts to name just a few.

but don't you ever want to have cuddle time and just look at "him" (whomever him is)???

I actually gave flowers to a man before

but in all honesty

other things are more important than flowers and expensive dates

like honesty, passion, fidelity, longing, compatability, and a cute butt
I for one feel like I got my priorities straightlove flowerforyou  blushing

I know with the new age of social media, but do you believe old fashion romance is still alive and desired? Or has it been replaced with NSA and FWB relationships?

Do women still like to be romanced, get flowers, go out to eat and a movie?

I didn't realize flowers, going out to eat and movies were considered old fashioned. huh

I don't think going to the movies is a good first date, though, as you don't get to talk and get to know each other.

And most men never give flowers. Getting flowers on a date would actually be a nice thing.

Nope, I don't want either. Much prefer being alone.

Romance hasn't changed. However, it's never had anything to do with attempting to purchase women with gifts of flowers and such.

Giving a woman a gift (before you really know her) makes her uncomfortable.
