for me its the same only with women havent found one that can be honest yet lol i dont think they exist.

I believe that both men and women lie and both can be honest. I would rather not be lied to even if it hurts... hey I ask a stupid ? that I know is going to get me a answer that is going to hurt then so be it.... I may even ask to see if they will lie. I can handle the truth better than a lie anytime. hurt from the truth heals fast.... hurt from lies has salt in it for awhile.

I just don't get it........when men say they want a relationship but are afraid to step up and take the reins.....somebody help me!...

You're right, it isn't gender specific nor is it everyone. Some of us truly want a relationship but can't seem to find it.

I think both women and men are individual and some are truthful, unfortunately some not. There is honesty and meaness and the 2 can be separated. I wouldn't tell a friend her dress made her "butt look big" anymore than I would insult a man with bad hairplugs. Honesty and brutalness are not the same. You can say I like you in a better another dress or your hair looks parted a different way & both would be honest, yet kinder answers. I am a woman who is honest and I like to be treated with honesty and not deception. That's different from hurting someone. Some of the wisebutt answers have made me smile, though. I just saw this post and not into arguing or generalizing. As far as the sex and intamacy.. so true. When a woman feels safe with a man (can trust that man) the sex will come about due to the the closeness. For the person who started this post, I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Somebody better for you will come around.
