Make sure that you are honest with yourself first, about what you really want and what attracts you to the other person. If you are attracted to the "bad boy", that's what you're probably gonna get. Also, as much as a person doesn't want to carry "baggage" into their next relationship, it's difficult not to, especially if you've been hurt in some way. Also, I would ventur to say that none of us are 100% honest all of the time for fear of hurting the other's feelings or getting into an argument. If you're afraid of the answer, don't ask the question. :-) Easier said than done....

i believe there are honest guys out there just so many who give the few a bad name

if you're looking for nice guys, you're gonna have to step up and hand him the reigns physically, as well as teach him how to use them. they might just be nervous and have no idea how to tell you either that they want you or that they aren't interested in you without hurting your feelings.

if you're looking for assholes, well, they've made up their mind about you a long time ago. lets focus on the nice guys, cuz i assume that's the kind of guy you want.

remember, there's dishonesty on both sides. assholes will be dishonest because there's something fundamentally wrong with them. they're just bad people and want to get their way at all costs. nice guys can be dishonest because they don't have the courage to tell you the truth. they're not bad people at heart, but it can seem like it if their lack of confidence gets in the way.

well i am new to this sight and with your permition i would love to coment on this and say. its hard to now when a women wonts you to take the rains becuse the wimen i have met have standerds set so hi that you scare most men off my self i have always said you can only give what you got and if a persons willing to give you a chance then you can see were things go and if a person cant be awnest then you realy dident miss out on anything. awnesty is the key to trust love and the basesof a good relationship . thanks for the time to voice my opion and good luck findeing the wright guy he will com along .

Maybe they are keeping their options open.

They might like something about you but not enough for a complete connection. But, if they are still doing this years later, then their strategy is not working. There are guys that use this option to play the field and have no intention of making a commitment.

You know, some guys lie more than others. So do some girls. Let's face it, none of us are perfect and all of us will lie sometimes.
What's really important is being respectful, commited, considerate, and caring. What's really important is if you love someone or not... and if you do your lies to them won't be about sleeping with someone or stabbing them in the back.
