“[Iraq] has aided, trained and harbored terrorists, including operatives of Al Qaeda.” Ummmmm it did. Expecially when AQ's number two was a frequent guest of Saddam's Government and had frequent audiences with Saddam himself. |

“[Iraq] has aided, trained and harbored terrorists, including operatives of Al Qaeda.” i don't think that was a lie...it can't be proven either way, so i can't put it in the lie category... Sure it can. Saddam funneled money to terrorist orginizations and had frequent meetings with Al-Zawahiri, AQ's #2 and the leader of the Jihadist Front. Saddam also funneled money to Libya for terrorist operations like the bombing of the Pan AM flight and was a close personal friend of Quaddafi, hell Quaddafi's daughter was one of the attorney's that represented Saddam when he went on trial for crimes against humanity. |

Being that the last time Weapons Inspectors were in the country they had components for Nuclear Weapons AND they did have WMD's, Saddam used them on the Kurds and his own people and against the Iranians. Not to mention there is a big desert in Iraq, and if I were Saddam the first thing I would have done is hide them. |

Including Hillary Clinton, who voted for the war and the Democrats who keep voting to keep funding the war when President Bush is out of office. It makes me laugh how President Bush has been out of office for years now but the Democrat Controlled House, Senate and President kept it going. |

And according to Obama, President Bush is and has been responsible for every didaster since Obama took office including the Haiti disaster and Japan. |

my point exactly... bushes lies are no better or no worse than obama's lies mow
Yes they are. They were much much much much worse. I have not seen any outrageous lies coming from Obama like I have seen from Bush. If in this case, he (Obama) discovered something was unconstitutional, and he had the power and authority to change his mind for a good reason, then that is his responsibility and right to do as president. Bush on the other hand, illegally invaded a foreign country under false pretenses and lies because his father wanted him to. It was all about money. Bush money. They bombed the crap out of the country, stole all the gold, and then brought their own companies in to rebuild it, making billions of dollars. They are criminals, period. |

From what I remember, congress did not approve of the war in Irac. Bush simply went in without their approval. That is why it was illegal.
If you can prove that congress did approve of the war in Irac, please prove me wrong. My memory may not be correct. If congress did approve the war in Irac based on false pretenses then it was still illegal. There were no weapons of mass destruction, and Saddam had nothing to do with 9-11 or terrorism perpetrated here in America. If you can prove otherwise, please do. |

The U.S. military's first and only study looking into ties between Saddam Hussein's Iraq and al Qaeda showed no connection between the two, according to a military report released by the Pentagon.
The report released by the Joint Forces Command five years after the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq said it found no "smoking gun" after reviewing about 600,000 Iraqi documents captured in the invasion and looking at interviews of key Iraqi leadership held by the United States, Pentagon officials said. from http://articles.cnn.com/2008-03-13/us/alqaeda.saddam_1_qaeda-targets-of-iraqi-state-iraqi-state-terror-operations?_s=PM:US |
