Is it me, or does there seem to be a lot of men claiming to be in their 30s who look like they're in their late 40s, early 50s, lately? And I mean with pictures here on Mingle2.

Really creepy, to be honest.

i can't speak for every guy on here, but i will. JK personally i got tired of being asked for identification every time i buy beer. so i hide my boyish good looks behind a big fu manchu mustache

I'm guessing it's those men who want younger women, yet think the younger women will be turned off if they knew their real age.

Some men don't look their age, in both directions. I don't know if I match up with my age, turning 30 in May... But, on that note, the same me in different shape, with a different job, and a different lifestyle wouldn't look the same as I do now...

Look at Tony Horton... 51 years old and still looks mid-thirties at best...

You can't judge age by picture alone, you need all the other information they put on the driver's license...lol

well I'm 21 but sometimes I pass for 16, I get ID'd all the time.

They could be lying, or they could really be the age they claim; I went to a seminar the other day and the speaker claimed to be 48. I swore he was in his 60s, then I found out he had suffered from serious health problems, so that was why.

Got ID'd until I was thirty...

I never married or had kids and life has been pretty good to me...when I went to a class reunion....I definitely looked way younger than All but one other guy...everyone with thier 2.5 kids and thier 1.8 marriages looked wornout...wrinkly...greyed....short.

Yeah, but I've seen the guys on here who are claiming they're in their 30s, yet look 60. Sure some guys don't look their age, but that's a bit much.

Guys are not the only ones online who "fudge" their age...lol. Women do it all the time even in real life so I think some of them fudge a little further online...lol. I know my age is correct so that is all that I can control so that is all that matters...

We're all adults here. Age is not as important as mileage.

Some men who work hard outdoors will weather a bit more than others. I've seen a young man of 20 who had white hair and a beard and looked 70.

It doesn't matter to me.

I know guys that are 40 and look old and vise versa.. You are all very young looking including Terry! Wait till you reach my age!

Yep i wouldnt care how old someone was, I would be their friend and if something else had happened the age wouldnt have mattered.
But if Ihad started to like him and he had lied about his age, I would have ended it in 2 seconds flat, the same if I had been told anything that wasnt right, its a realy really really bad start.

I am 42 and if that worries someone then they would have to deal with it. Its not something I can or would change, I like who I am now, and it was a lot of hard work to get here.

Yeah, this is what I've seen lately too.

I don't have any issues with age, but I'd like the person to look closer to their age. The rode hard, put up wet just doesn't do it for me.
