I dont know is a 10 year difference really considered a pedophile? like my foster mom and dad; they have a 10 year difference. i think my mom was older so what does that make her? watch out i would of found out she was 18 LOL. your profile states you are in VANCOUVER, I would suggest looking up the laws there because age of consent varies from culture to culture and place to place , from what I have researched so far , IN vancouver that age of consent is 16, so IM doubting you would be seen as a pedophile,, but who knows |

And, the bottom line is that, at least in this country, you will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of your life even if it was a teenager and consensual. One stupid mistake could ruin a guy's life and I hate to see that happen. |

what would you have done? k, i havent had sex for like 2 years or something maybe longer hahaha... so u could imagine what my harmones are like, k, i went to this rave the other night last friday LOL and there was this 16 year old harsh grinding up against me. I was being distant and pushing her away cuz im 25 right. So later that night after the rave i went home all by myself i beat myself over why didnt i pick her up... oh yeah cuz im not a pedophile! so i kept beating myself over it. I even talked to friends and ****, i was playing the what if game. All they asked me "was she hot?" LOL does that even matter? obvisiously my buddy's has no problem with age. So im beating myself over this i know i did the right thing but what would u have done? LOL Why not just go to a club where you know the crowd is 21+ and pick someone up there if you have to do something about your "HORMONES"? It's called jail bait for a reason. Plus...it's just wrong

Don;t beat yourself over this. You did the right thing. It was a rave and she was teasing the crap outta you, because she could.
And typically if your that much older and they are under 18-- my advice is walk away. Unless you want the possibility of being arrested and labeled as a sex offender for the rest of your life. Trust me on this, I work in the county jail (15 years) and I've seen it. Better safe than labeled a felon for your life. |

I can understand it would feel almost pedophilic to have considered having sex with her...and I applaud you for that also. I also want to recognise the fact that your friends didn't see this young 'tease' in the same light you did...and still you stayed in your own beliefs. You're a gentleman, and showed respect for yourself, and for the young girl, even when she wasn't showing it for herself. You aren't selfish, you aren't shallow, and you aren't opportunistic....that says a lot for a person's character. I would be proud of you, if you were my son.
