I have never been broken up with verbally...they usually just disappear, afraid to hurt my feelings I suppose. It's really weird. Any long term relationship i have had i have broken up with the guy for one reason or another, either too possessive or just sometimes there is not really a physical connection and we are better off as friends. I think it is rude the guys who disappear into thin air. It hurts more, at least tell us what they think, because its not as though they are faultless...sheez

could it be real? I have been broken with five different people in the past three years, who have told me, their reason was simply because i was too good to be true is that even real??? i mean i get the I found out about your kids..and ..um ...no go, but really? too good to be true I'd call BS on 'em but even guys that know me that i haven't gone out with have said as much about me... totally don't believe it whats the strangest thing you have been told as a reason for breaking up? Yes..it is real. I have been the "Fling" so many times that it isn't acually funny. "you are so happy..I don't want to ruin that" ...that one still sticks with me...(I have heard other variants...."You are fun, he is real"..."Can't we just have sex?") I am not even kidding... I mean seriously....what's a guy to do? |

Yeah, i think they just use us as fillers, in between real girlfriends and then ditch us when someone worthy rolls around, who knows...

The guy i was with at the time used to get so angry with me, when i had hardly any money left to go to the pub with him. I had more money some days than other days. I got fed up of it. I left him. I should have left him sooner, to be quite honest. My friends and my family kept telling me to leave him. So yeah.

I broke up with a guy recently. We went out every other weekend (single dad), but he called me twice a day every day. I just told him I didn't see a future. He seemed to think it was because he was a father first, but we just didn't click. But I try to be honest and tell someone.

That was the same reason they used on my last three break ups. I think it's BS. I think it means they lost interest and found someone else, but don't have the guts to be honest. ![]() |

Why thank you, Oh, I don't view the past as " I wish I woulda...". Everything I did made me the awesome person that I am, if I did anything different, I wouldn't be so amazing. |

The guys who have broken up with me don't say anything. They either just disappear or become so non-responsive that I break up with them.

It hurts more, at least tell us what they think, because its not as though they are faultless...sheez I hate to say and very embaressed to admit one time I did this to a guy. But we hadnt been really dating yet, we didnt kiss up to that moment, but i knew he was in love with me. he was a teacher of my brother and we started to talk about poetry and started to phone each other every night for hourss. for me was more a friendship. specially because he had a fiancee. but he soon told me he had feeling for me, was going to break up with his fiancee because of me and ask my mother to be with me, that he was truly in love with me and i was THE ONE. i was 18. i had never been the one. i had never had a boyfriend, i had barely kissed some guys before, i was a virgin, them up comes this amazing guy that i had as a great friend material but was telling me he would like to marry me and have babies with me. erhh, i freaked out, and vanished into thin air, yes. i was 18 and he was 24 if im not mistaken, so different times in our lives. if he would have taken things a little bit slower, not talking about marriage and kids even before we ever kissed, who knows what would have happened? ;p |
