I would walk up to them and tell them that at face value I found them to be reasonably beautiful...

and then smile and walk away....it's just the outside....it's the inside that interests me.

You're at the beach, park, or other public place and notice someone attractive. How do you approach them appropiately?

I dont approach men at all. I will freely pass out compliments to men and women though, like..'girl, you are working those shoes' or
'you know you doing the dang thing'

Walk up and say, "Are you a parking ticket? Cause you've got FINE written all over you". Yup. The classics...always gotta stick with em.

Okay....a lot of remembering to do here....

Jess, having the balls to say it and walk away would draw me to you. Question is, do I have the balls to follow? Let me get shot of liquid courage first, and I'll be right there.

Ms. Harmony....your approach would get me thinking, but it would be too passive to make me react. Truth is, I think you and I would get along well in real life. So, for me there is a slight disappointment there.

Josie, I'm kind of like that too, but I'm growing out of it. Of course, if you weren't already attached, I'd be tempted to break that silence if I saw you in a bar.....recognizing you from online, that is.

Rlynne....that line is cheesy, but you are attractive enough that if you played the ditz (to get me to laugh) then gave me intelligent, fun conversation....Yeah, you would definitely have my interest.

Chickayoshi....if only I was brave enough to do something that also. Still, I am the kind of guy to pick it up for you, completely oblivious to your intention, chase you down, and then miss all your blatant signals unless you actually gave me a rather unexpected big wet kiss. Then, I would be a zombie because you had just blown my mind.

TxsGal....that's usually what I do too. Hence the theme of my responses here.

Stefy, it wouldn't take much to get my attention. Plus, you might actually be one who talked to me as a friend first. If you made a move after that....well, it would be hard (maybe impossible) to say no.

2KidsMom....What happened to the mask? The current pic is too nice to walk away from. Then again, you're also the type I'm more likely to have friendly chit-chat at a bar with, and get to know you over several weeks of running into each other. Still, I'm dense, and you would have to make the first move.

Did I miss anyone? I have I disparaged myself enough, let alone everyone else? Truth is, every woman I mentioned is hot in her own way. I'm just too chickenshit to do much about it.

Try walking up and complimenting, or at least commenting on something about them, clothes, tat, jewelry, body feature(like eyes, or hair- only)
You could also try buying two soda and walk up and offer one saying something like"I ended up with an extra, would you like it?" That would break the ice.

Me personally, I've never met a stranger and can (and usually do) talk to everyone(Hey I'm 1/2 irish- can;t help it). But if I found them attractive, I would be all self conscious, I know kinda weird. SO I would probably sit there staring trying to mentally command them to notice me, and start a conversation.

You'd be surprised at how effective it can be. My experience, a lot of women appreciate the effort. Even if it is from a cheesy line.

Yeah, but the guy can't be drunk, slurring his word and saying it. Has to be genuine. And done with confidence. "Sigh". It's hard work. laugh

I don't think I've ever heard a cheesy line that actually worked. Though, I guess if there were enough confidence, it could. laugh
