I have only "met" two Brits. One was a pen pal and we parted ways after having a disagreement on his prejudice attitude towards Muslims. The other one I actually spoke to on the phone for a while and had a heck of a time understanding him. We parted ways when he reunited with his American girlfriend. They are married now, he let me know. I was planning a trip over there eventually. And am still working towards it but it will be a while before it happens.

I have to say some Americans can be really stuck on past stuff so who knows what they could be holding onto to perpetuate their hatred.

Just know they are not the majority here.

After tracing my English history back to when we were Sir this and Lady that I found out that we must be be descended from warmongers.laugh Because when we came to the states back in 1618 we were just as warmongering as we were when our family line came from Normandy to England in 1109. Just about every ancestor I have was involved in some civil dispute. We fought in the civil war in England and fought in the civil war in America. We would rather fight then switch.laugh
