Topic: WHY IS TRUE LOVE HARD TO FIND? | |
---|---|
I don't know why true love is very hard to find.I sometimes think of it as a natural phenomenon whereby out of every 100 singles in or at a community"only 20"end up to find true love, while the rest eighty pesonals end up eilther being in a relationship because of beneficial interests mostly "finance".Talking of such thing as beneficial relationship,i really will love to tell both parties(males and females) to do something about this cose the rate of beneficial relationship is really over shadowing true love.I would like to advice the youths that when we are sincere and truthful to each other,i think we can learn to love likewise.VERY IMPORTANT!

IDK
really I never had any problem finding true love before in my case, I think locally it had to do with the lies my ex told about me - and the gossips in the small town I lived in spreading them around like they were true - a pox on them all on the internet - the dishonesty of the men I have met so far |

True love really isnt hard to find, but I do agree with you, most relationships are based on "finance" not happiness, and its really hard to find someone who wont lie just to get what they are trying to get. Yes I know there are still people on here and all over that will be honest, and truthful, the thing is with that you would just have to find them.

Hmmm i dont think it is really too hard to find, if you are careful, take note of the warning signs, dont think that things will change later, and just be 100 percent truthful from the start , about who you both are if there is any dishonesty, its failed from the start.
this is of course coming from someone who has thought she was madly in love at least 3 times and that I could fix the other person, or not worry about all the things that wherent quiet right. Just doesnt work, I f you are not 100 percent happy, just wait or get out.. |

Here is the problem with "true love". We think we know when we have found it. Think about it. How many times have you heard someone say "He/she is the one I have been waiting for", or "He/she is the one for me"? I'm sure you have heard something along those lines said. And, in some instances, it turns out to be true.
However, majority of the time, people rush so fast into something that they THINK they have found true love. Then, few months later, that true love they thought they had goes away. You can plug in the varied reasons why. But, they all boil down to the fact that the relationship was not what each person thought it was (or was going to be). I believe that everyone wants to be in love. But I also believe that love is something that comes to you when you least expect it. I never see a girl I am interested in and think "Will she be my true love"? That is way too much pressure. Instead, I want to go through the journey. I don't have expectations. And I feel that when you don't, true love will come. May be in a week, or a month, a year, or five years. And that is the frustrating part. The wait. |

I, honestly, dont think that true love even exists anymore. Maybe that because I've been let down so much in the past and I have yet to see a marriage (besides my grandparents) last. It seems like everyone is getting divorced. The only 'love' I know is between a parent and their child(ren) and thats just fine with me. I dont NEED to have a man in my life to be happy or to take care of me.

True love isn't something that can be "found".
First, let us define this "love".. :::love Verb /ləv/ - Feel a deep romantic or sexual attachment to (someone) - Like very much; find pleasure in [Thank you to google/dictionary] Love is a en emotion used to describe a type of relationship. There are many forms of love, and everyone will define it differently. Love isn't always the heart bursting blood pounding butterfly inducing explosion everyone has come to expect, and you can thank romance novels and life time for that one. Every relationship you will ever be in takes work. Between parents/children, siblings, friends, and your lovers. Without determination and communication any relationship will wither, grow cold, and inevitably end. Perhaps you'd be better off saying you are "searching for romance" now there, is something hard to find. |

Im sure Im overthinking this too..lol
but I think SOCIETY and MEDIA has really screwed up our perceptions and realities I think TRUE love is often equated to whats in the movies so people dont find it because the movies rarely include the realities of sickness and financial stress and other setbacks and obstacles people have to get through together so, we are stuck wanting our girl next door or knight in shining armor, starting of course with the PHYSICAL ATTRACTION, and when we find that we work backwards, trying to be everything we think THEY want so we can have them, instead of continuing to be ourself(the good and the bad) and finding out if they would really want US or not. we fail so often because we too often start off in the deception of best first impressions which are too far and extreme from who we really are in our natural and everyday life. when the illusion dies, the expectations drop, disappointment sets in, and the relationship ends |
