The only thing that makes today mean anything, is that there may be no tommorrow.

Each kiss should be savored. Each meal should be enjoyed. Even the bad days have good things in them. Otherwise...what is the purpose of life if you never stand to lose it?

Who wants to live forever? That would suck. But, you can always find more people to love when you lose the ones you love.

I didn't say to replace. I just meant there's always people to love.

this is true, but I still wouldnt want to outlive my loved ones over and over and over again,,,too painful to go through that much loss in a lifetime

I did some Photography for awhile and had the pleasure of photographing a elderly woman who was 102,,,,she drove to the shoot,
and looked maybe 75,,,,as we talked about life and her longevity
she told me of her very saddened tales,,of losing all of her family
through time,,,,and THAT was MORE present in her mind (to me) than her desire to live-on...She got tearful when speaking of her sons and her daughter passing before her own life did,,,and even some of their children already passed to,,,,,
THAT showed me,,as I also had thought it,,,WHY on earth would I want to be MY ENTIRE FAMILIES GRIEVING SOUL SURVIVOR,,,,nope,,
I don't want to out live my kids,,,,,wink,

atm id take immortality.

but ive always wanted to live forever. ;-)

We already live forever, we just don't stay here.

Of course you will find new people to love right?
