Tim do you use corn starch to thicken and also do you use Kitchen Bouquet to brown it and flavor it?
If I get that far with out eating it yes laugh laugh laugh

Kim, I usually eat up within a couple days

Betty, I never have tried adding those but I am sure that it would be Nummy to add them. Like a broccoli cheese soup

i make a potato soup the kids like but I kinda shoot from the hip with that

Forgot about potato soup, I don't think I have made that at all this winter.
for that I just make a white sauce and add potatoes and celery along with some white pepper and salt

I make mine OLD school

I boil potatoes with onions, drain off most of liquid, add pepper, milk and butter and heat through...to thicken, add instant potato flakes. Sometimes I add hamburger for flavor.

Hey Betty, seems we had a shake this morning & it was centred on Christchurch. I haven't heard of any damage, & didn't feel it, although it was reputedly 4 on the O By Golly scale. One learns to ignore them:laughing: :laughing:

I have too, but grew up with hamburger so guess that's more of a comfort food for me.

I have never put celery in mine before.
I heard why they put it in there I thought it was to help take the gas out.... cant remember
