I just saw that showed women in India having their heads shaved in a religious ceremony.
I confess that I ascribe to the old "hair is a woman's crowning glory" thing. Ladies - would you shave your head? Men - would you support your significant other's wish to go bald headed? |

If it was an important part of my religious beliefs , I guess I would.

I love my hair. It may be my best 'feature'.
But, it's just hair. I'd like to think I'd shave it in support of a friend who may lose their own due to cancer treatment, or if it was part of my religion - which I cannot imagine - yes, it is just hair! |

No, I'd never shave my head. Hell I don't have as much hair as I'd like now!! I want thicker, longer hair!!! lol

I will agree with LookinRound, it is just hair....it would prolly be a safe bet that many of these women have no say in this part of the ritual....that is what would make it questionable.
All should have the choice. |

I saw that on Hbo the other day
when Chris rock walks into a beverly hills weave store with a suit case and says how much much money will you give me for this hair (12 to 14 inch in lenth) and about id say 20 or 30 of them and the guy is like about 15,000$ and the average black woman's weave maintenance tab is 12,000$ yearly upwords to 30,000$ a year just when i thought droppin over a c note a month for fresh fades was expensive

there is this one guy that i was talking to sometime back on another dating site. and he was so determined to shave my head.
which his last relationship she allowed it .. i dont care who the heck you are. im not going to shave my head for some idiot moron

Yep...that was the show. My trip to the hairdresser every couple months is NUTHIN' now! I can even throw in pedicures every couple weeks and my budgetr can still say "aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh" with a smile!

If I had like bald spots or something, or it was some great charity event - I probably would. Generally speaking, just for kicks and giggles, No!

If it was due to Cancer then yeah any other reason then I will be keeping my hair......
