So many eyes are watching the ground zero mosque that most have missed a disturbing trend.

Am I the only one that has notice a sudden and drastic increase in Mosques and 'cultural' centers springing up near US military installations?

America is known as a place one can practice the religion of their choice and be guaranteed freedom from religious prosecution.

It started that way. Why should it change?

I think the point is that muslims hate America and it should send up red flags that they are building them ion close proximity to military bases. Not saying they can't buold them, but why are they choosing these specific locations? Personally I think all organized religion should be watched, islam especially.

Muslims do not hate America. Just like Christians don't hate abortion clinics. But some Christians are not well and do bad things to abortion clinics and other things.

Some Muslims hate America, but then again many Americans hate America.

There is, i don't understand it but unfortunately its true.

There are 60 yr olds in our country who have never done anything, never sacrificed a bead of sweat, for the life they enjoy.
They've been sitting around enjoying life while letting a small minority keep it that way.
They, I want to say, take it all for granted, but that's not exactly true. They never really even know what they have. They think what they have is status quo.
Everyone has it!
They party, enjoy safe communities, work, and go to school without ever seeing or thinking about the sacrifices made to maintain it.

I was thinking about that also since I notice them more often than I used to.I don't think they are increasing I just think we are more aware of it now and notice it easier.As with any War the United states is shipping large amounts of refugees here for what ever reason.A good majority of the Philippine population living in the United states was brought here in the 1970's after Saigon fell to the Viet cong.

Muslims don't hate America .They love America!!!Especially in the Middle east! They especially love. our support for Israel and our large Christian population.

Regardless, it is a trend to keep an eye on. I've noticed it and questioned it myself lately, no need to go and make assumptions on what is occuring...but to make sure that nothing is going to occur.

And yes, Muslims DO hate America. One of their holidays is an anti-American one where they burn our flag and chant "Death to America"....yeah, they really love us!!

Thats the way its supposed to be. But the Muslims dont see it that way.

It would be a good thing if they all were openly and actively
coming out against radical Islam - denouncing it repeatedly and
publicly for being anti-Muslim and an abomination.

But they aren't.

Very few Muslims are actively engaged in publicly fighting against
radical Islam and this is why thee is intense distrust and even
fear. If people do not see them as openly addressing this cancer
and working vigorously to eradicate its anti-US message then
everyone is rightfully worried that there will be more attacks and
that the Mosques will try to justify and shelter such activity.

Muslim organizations must do much more to publicly combat terrorism
and Islamic intolerance and aspects of Sharia law which conflict
with modern societal norms before they can ever be regarded as safe
fellow citizens.

If the US Muslim community continues to be silent and inactive in
combating radical Islam then they are part of the problem rather
than part of the solution - of course.
