 surprised at. Why should I not advertise how proud I am in a color, blacks do it, gays, hispanics, etc...and why the hell should I be oppressed in any way to be proud? So...all the parents that have the stupid bumper stickers about how they are proud of their honor roll student? Is that oppression? Proud to love Mickey Mouse or Cartman? Is that oppression? NOoooooo and people wear these shirts allllllllllll theeee time![/]

i think ill stick to the t shirts that i already wear.

Yeah, that's the sad part, I can't wear anything that shows MY heritage. But everyone else can. If I do, it's racist. Uhm, "WHITE" is not a heritage, it's a race... *sigh* $.02

In this day and age, "White pride" or "Black pride" or "Latino pride" are equally stupid. Why do you need a shirt to advertise that. We can see you are white/black/latino. If I wanted to know how you felt about your skin color I would ask you, if not, why would anybody give more than half a s**t. I have less of a problem with the supposed racist aspects (which there are none, even though touchy people would say otherwise), and more of a problem with the pointless nature of it.

I want a tee that says "clothes make the woman" with the word clothes marked through with a nice think red line and over it the words "power tools" scribbled in. Now that is a shirt that tells you something about me and says something I am proud of! Win, win!
Mostly I wear white vi neck tees, men's size large and don't wear one's that have anything printed on them but I do love the idea of a 'power tool tee'!! |
