As I watch you down on your knees.
Heartbroken and hearing your pleas.
Before you as a friend I do stand.

At times we think what we see.
Is the one that will truly be.

Next thing we know we are falling a part.

Nor do I sprinkle the dust of love.

For you see at times we tend to fall.
What we think is, in love not taking the time to recall.
It is not what we intend.
To do before we let our hearts mend.

So take the time that is needed.
You will know when you have succeeded.
Just take that time and take a step back.
Look around and truly see life as you slowly get back on track.

It will not be very long.
Soon someone special will come along.
