I think he is such a brilliant man. This is kind of a modernized version of the Willie Lynch Letter, except Farrakhan revises the lesson to be about poor and powerful instead of just black and white.

The guy is a racist piece of crap, that aside he is by far a much better leader for black people that not so shaprton or jackson. He tries to get people to support their neighborhoods and locally owned black businesses which to me is a good thing, keep the money in your hood and hopefully the owners will too.

I have no problem with people who are "racists", there is no shame in taking pride in who you are, supporting and promoting the advancement of your own. The problem is the xenophobia used by certain leaders that doesnt promote pride but leans more towards a victimization of the general group...the idea that. " you are down because the evil (fill in the blank, race/gender/religion of your choice here) is to blame", helps no one and hurts everyone.

Farrakhan, like all other political leaders has fallen victim to his own ambition for power,and is now using the people he is supposed to be in service of, for his own personal gain...pity..

I have watched several of his speeches over the years including this one. We obviously have a different perspective about his "message" which is here for all to see. His history speaks for itself.
