Wikileaks has released hundreds of thousands of classified documents stolen from a US soldier(one of the biggest in US history)and I haven't heard Obama say anything on this issue. What is up with this guy?Is he getting the George bush asleep at the wheel syndrome?

Didn't a soldier steal the documents and then provide them to Wikileaks? Aside from your all to common spin on an otherwise true story...why the **** would Obama give a ****?

State secrets are still state secrets regardless of who can read them, Obama can't do much of **** about it...what's done is done, why in all of **** do you lot keep expecting him to click his heels together and make everything perfect?

Well I think Obamas' down fall begins now. He has no control over the hill or senate. With all of these things that are going against him now, I think it is a slippery slope to tread. He has spent his time in office avoiding the most important issues in the U.S. Now he is making deals with republicans...something i said would happen when he first took over office. He will continue to avoid several pressing matters. I'm not too sure what his exact motive is for not talking about this but i'm sure we can agree tom that his ideals are usually nutts.

Maybe you are unaware but he promised to fix all of these things. And people care about this because it directly involves them. It is the leaders job to address these issues.

You can't be serious??? noway The Goverments main job is to protect the security of this nation.Having some bozo releasing classified secret information on all aspects of our Government is not protecting this nation. It's creating a huge mess politically, embarrassing our officials and our country, giving our enemies classified information, giving anarchist more confidence to attack our own Government, and upsetting nations who are our allies.Terrorist are drolling over this information and will be using it in every way possible to damage our Government.

I think at the very minimum the President should be up there on a daily basis explaining how he is going to stop the release of more documents from Wikileaks, how this event happened and what he is doing to prevent it,what crimes this person has committed, what action they are going to take to prevent, etc.

Obama is a gutless at they come.George bush would have this Wikileaks guys head on a platter demanding he be arrested on sent to the United states to stand trial for what he has done.Obama should be grilling this guy like a steak on the forth of July. But he says nothing.

I would also warm any United states company or website that is releasing or supporting this classified information would be committing a felony and would be punished in the worst way possible.I would warn any foreign countries that they would face possible sanctions if they cooperated with Wikileaks.

There are secrets that should be kept secret, things like weapons development, troop allocations, new technologies, BUT when it comes to some of the shady BS that many government officials and criminals using the system through our government are not secrets but evidence and when that evidence is brought to light then it is evident that leaders like Obama are puppets of a greater will (conspiracy).

I hope we get more from Wikileaks and other sites! It shows the depths and levels these lying sacks of SH*IT will go through to screw us for their power and prestige. I am sick of our nation being sold out to the highest bidder and Islam! Obama is remaining silent becasue of the mud he is associated flinging and the poo he has on his hands!

Personally I would rather be caught red handed than brown handed any day of the week! At least I don't got my hands in sh*it!

Is it any wonder when Obama speaks flies appear?

Too bad nothing in those files for any 9/11 nutjobs.I'm sure he threw away all the files explaining how 9/11 was a direct result from Islamic terrorism and not a inside job.

So...what are we supposed to do?

Oh, you think if I email the president he will listen to me?

No, he won't listen to anyone, regardless.

So again, what the hell do we hope to accomplish by parading around in our "Hate Obama" shirts and screaming from the top of our lungs that he is worthless?

Actually.......it would ne the militarys job to prosecute the mole or person guilty of treason and supplying the information.....not to prosecute the outlet that used theinformation no matter how lacking they found the beaers judgement on using the information gained........I really do not see his infraction but those that supplied the information to the outlet should be the ones tried and punished for treasonous acts against safety and security of the countries information leaked upon

And this my friend is the Repub's motivation.
Their sole goal.

They care not about the people or the economy.

They only care about corporation interests and regaining power.

Obama Wants Wikileaks’ Assange Charged With Espionage

Philip Shenon
The Daily Beast
August 10, 2010

The Obama administration is pressing Britain, Germany, Australia, and other allied Western governments to consider opening criminal investigations of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and to severely limit his nomadic travels across international borders, American officials say.

Officials tell The Daily Beast that the U.S. effort reflects a growing belief that WikiLeaks and organizations like it threaten grave damage to American national security, as well as a growing suspicion in Washington that Assange has damaged his own standing with foreign governments and organizations that might otherwise be sympathetic to his anti-censorship cause.

etc.

You really can't fault the guy for avoiding the issue.

But I will say that what irritates me most about this is the fact that the democrats talk up the United Nations like it's the best thing since sliced bread, publicly. All the while they feel it necessary to spy on the top echelons of UN leadership, secretly.

Whether it is Obama or Hillary, someone needs to come clean to the american people as to why they felt it necessary to implement this policy or continue this policy if it was left over from previous administrations.

Bush promised to fix a s***load of things too, things he never fixed, Clinton did the same damn thing...yet, in spite of every single president since ****ing Kennedy not holding to what they promised to do...suddenly, with all of these historic lessons, we expect a president to do ****?

Honestly? I mean, really?

Im still trying to figure out how often a candidate actually uses the words 'I promise' that so many people seem to believe they have done so.....

I cant promise everyone in my household will give gifts, how can a president promise what the government will do? (shrugs)
