I have just read the Micheal Vick(he of the dogfighting ring) leads the whole NFL in receiving votes for the Pro Bowl. I will in no way condone what he did and I certainly will not ever forget it.

He has however, done his time and has become a model citizen and teammate and those guys swear by him. He gives credit to his teammates, his coaches, and even to the fans of the city of Philadelpia.

I wish him the best in overcoming his problems. Vick is
a remarkable athlete who has like many before him made
some serious mistakes. He has a limited time to compete
however and I hope he can achieve his ultimate level of
performance with whatever success that can bring.

M.V. Has received a lot of mixed emotional responses to his actions that placed him behind prison walls.
M.V. has been out now going on three years and is no longer under the supervision of State Parole.
Has he actually learned from this experience? He is the only one that can answer that.
M.V. has received something that so many people would love to have. A "Break" he has been given a break and went back into the NFL where he is making Millions for his talent.
The same question could be asked of Tyson, Kobe, Do they deserve a second chance as M.V. has received? I can't answer that one honestly. I am one who believes whole heartily that Kobe is guilty of rapping that girl. If your not guilty. Why go out and spend 3 mill on a ring and since he could of just went around the corner and payed someone say $100 for his pleasure. Why has he paid that girl a couple Million?
Then there's Mean Mike. Does a rapist deserve the 2nd chance to be Americas Heavyweight Champion? No... Did anyone grip and complain when he entered the ring? No people cheered for him and excepted him.
So people are highly upset that this guy fights and torments and what ever else M.V. did to an animal. Than they are over a man rapping, tormenting, abusing another human being...
That's pretty freakin sad...

people have different priorities and talents and they should not have their talents overlooked due to their downfalls, in my opinion

he may suck as a peta member, but he is a great athlete

same with kobe, he might suck as a faithful husband(possible reason for the ring is called ADULTERY and COMMUNITY PROPERTY) , but he is also a noteworthy athlete

as far as mike, I dont think he raped the girl, I just think she got pissed that he didnt call after,,,

but only those involved will ever know

He is a piece of trash. I will never forget or forgive ANYONE who hurts or kills animals like he did.

I bet Vick really likes the Bears! Time will tell. He is talented, yes. Exciting, yes. Consistant.......?????? Well, I'm from ATL. I remember when Vick was throwing for the Falcons. Granted we had no offensive line to speak of at the time. The Falcons got rid of talent and traded it for strong fundementals playing as a team. Guess its working for them.

Being a talented athlete doesn't make you a good person! I hope he realizes what he did to those dogs was wrong and appreciates being given a second chance! This is why the public is pushing for breed bans & trying to make it a felony ot own one. I think he should be dedicating some time & money into shining a better light on Pit Bulls so that the responsible owners don't have to pay for the stupidity of dogfighters.

Considering the arena sport that Micheal Vick is part of, being an uncaring brute probably helps him.

I do not wish him bad but I recognize what I am looking at when I see him as all should.

He is a brutal human.

I believe these types of arena sports harbor or attract some of these types because of the brutality of the actions in the arena. So to see violence from them is really not surprising to me.

My opinion of course.

IF, is a big word

IF my daughter went to someeones room at 2am in the morning and called police until DAYS later and had claimed rape before without prosecution or proof,, I may be suspect of her as well

but none of that has anything to do with giving credit where credit is due,, my heart surgeon might be an adulteress, but they are two different issues, if he is an excellent heart surgeon

like wise , a surgeon may SUCK but be a great husband,,,

people confuse issues, I try not to,, the athletes are good at what they do for a living, whatever they are doing in their personal life(or accused of doing) is a seperate issue

Yea we do know that there are at least two forms of justice for this country and maybe the world, the rich form and the poor form.
